Eddy Funko is the main antagonist of the 2024 action-adventure crossover video game Funko Fusion, based on the "Funko Pop!" toy line created by Funko.
He is the embodiment of all the fears of Freddy Funko who, having spent years in the bowels of the Wonderworks Factory, became envious of Freddy's fame and power, deciding to steal all of it by claiming his crown and the Heart of Creation.
He is voiced by Clancy Brown, who also played Lex Luthor in the DC Animated Universe, Mr. Krabs in SpongeBob SquarePants, Savage Opress in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Byron Hadley in The Shawshank Redemption, Viking Lofgren in Bad Boys, The Kurgan in Highlander, the Dark Dragon in American Dragon: Jake Long, Undertow in The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea, The Splotch in The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants, Long Feng in Avatar the Last Airbender, Trident in Teen Titans, Dr. Neo Cortex and Uka Uka in Crash Bandicoot and Kojak in Recess: School's Out.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
After Freddy Funko lost his grandmother Granny Funko, he would become a workaholic and bottle up his fears, this would cause him to leak a purple plasma that accumulated in the bowels of the WonderWorks Factory, the plasma accumulated into a liquid being full of negative emotions. The being spent years trapped in the bottoms of the Factory, where it would create monsters known as Creepoids to do its bidding, the Creepoids found spare parts throughout the Factory, through which the being assembled a crude body.
The being learned about Freddy, growing envious and spiteful about his reputation and power, and decided to claim his crown and the Heart of Creation for itself. Observing the various WonderWorlds of the Factory, the being bided his time, preparing itself and its Creepoids for a takeover of the Factory.
Funko Fusion[]
The being eventually stroke, flooding the Factory and WonderWorlds with its purple plasma. It then revealed itself to Freddy, where it combined itself with some Creepoids, completing its body. Declaring himself "not quite Freddy" but "being all kinds of evil", the being named himself Eddy.
Eddy then approached Freddy in order to take his crown but was opposed by Foxxo, Eddy laughed at Foxxo and drained him of his Vinyl, reducing him to a skeleton.
Personality[]
Eddy Funko is a polar opposite of his progenitor Freddy Funko. Whereas Freddy is kind and empathetic, Eddy is mean, ruthless, jealous and power-hungry, with his only goal being to steal Freddy's power by taking his crown and the Heart of Creation only because of pure jealousy. He is also sadistic, laughing after draining Foxxo's Vinyl and when possessing someone in a painful manner for the victim.
Appearance[]
Like Freddy, Eddy had ginger hair and freckles. However, unlike Freddy, his hair is a little bit longer and messier. Eddy wears a black leather jacket with pink lines, a black dress shirt with pink buttons, a pink bowtie, gray pants, a pink belt, and black-and-pink sneakers.
After grabbing the crown from Freddy and putting it on, his eyes became fandango pink with the twirls inside, while the glowing marks appeared.
