Edzilla is Ed's alter-ego and the antagonist of the Ed, Edd n' Eddy episode "The Day the Ed Stood Still". As a result of being encouraged to act like a monster, Ed gets way too far into the role.
Biography
Double D dresses Ed as a monster in an attempt to attract customers to Eddy's arcade scam. Unfortunately, Ed's massive and overactive B-movie-nourished imagination directs him to take the role too seriously.
Throughout the episode, Ed rampages and kidnaps several kids of the Cul-De-Sac. (First, he kidnaps Jimmy from the playground, Second, he kidnaps Jonny and Plank from the construction site, Third, he kidnaps Kevin from his house, Fourth, he eats Rolf and kidnaps Nazz from the clubhouse and destroyed it. Lastly, After her sister Sarah unmasks him and tries to save Jimmy, but ends up stuck in the Chunky Puffs) When Double D borrows one of Rolf's chickens named Gertrude in order for Edzilla to give chase, only to realize that it's a distraction or a diversion. Meanwhile, Eddy, Rolf and Nazz are seeking a shelter from the clubhouse in order to hide from Edzilla, only for Rolf and Nazz to be captured and eaten by Edzilla.
Ultimately, it is discovered that Ed keeps them imprisoned against the walls of his room and seals them by using regurgitated Chunky Puffs cereal as a seal. However, Ed's rampage is cut short when his sister Sarah unmasks him. The Eds then flee, fearing retribution from the still-stuck residents.
Personality
While as Edzilla, Ed behaves much like the typical monster with hunting and kidnapping (as opposed to eating) victims. He is surprisingly formidable in this state, especially considering the sheer size of the costume and Ed's imagination and of course, unlike Ed himself, he still has love for chickens and Chunky Puffs.
