The Egg Monster is an egg-themed monster and the 13th of Egos Monsters and he is the main antagonist of the episode 13 of 1980 TV series called Battle Fever J.
He is voiced by Teiji Ōmiya who previously voiced a Steel Mask, a Camera Mask, a Faucet Mask, Devil Cane, an Umbrella Monster, Fang Lion Monster and later voiced a Galaxy Monster, a Blue Vein Monster, a Magnet Monster, an Earthworm Monster, an Eagle Monster, a Bomb Monster, a Four Faced Monster, Jukular, Banchirolar, Rousokular, Mimilar, Bidamalar, Kendamalar, a Grub Monger, a Bird Monger, a Devil Monger, a Machine Monger, a Porcupine Mozoo and a Diving Beele Evo.
History[]
The Egg Monster made his debut at Egos Headquarters when Satan Egos summons him for this campaign called "Fried Egg Strategy" which involves feeding the kids some fried eggs much to Hedda's confusion. So with that he accepts the assignment as he transformed into a chicken.
A while later he was at a playground as he was spotted by a couple of kids and the arrival of Kensaku, so he decides to run away as the kids and Kyosuke started to chase him, but in the end they just trapped in a basket. A while later he was kept as a pet at Masaru's place in a chicken coop, but after making a couple of noise that Egg Monster is making the entire went over to check it out. He then began to lay golden eggs much to his Masaru's family surprise, so they decide to cook the egg to see if its edible or not. Masaru's dad tried the suspicious egg and turns out its quite good as it gave him lot of energy. After seeing the father in action after trying some eggs the whole starts to have some as well and it has some wonderful effects on the family except for one thing that they didn't count on being marked with an "X" on the forehead.
However it wasn't long when reports about Keiko's odd behavior so Kensaku decides to investigate the matter at her residence as she was dancing to some music as he spotted some golden eggs and have an "X" on her forehead which means Egos is up to something.
A while later as the Egg Monster was chilling out in his coop Kensaku spots the bird only for to hide behind the tree as he almost got pinned by some Feather Darts that the Egg Monster fired. After the conversation Kensaku tries to take the Egg Monster away only for those who ate his fried egg to take the bird back despite Kensaku's claim of it being an Egos. So after being force fed with a fried egg by his brainwashed followers both Kensaku and the Egg Monster (who reverts back to his original form) and battles each other, first he fires more of his feather darts at Kensaku only for him to hid behind the tree, then he used what appears to be an egg-shaped staff and starts clobbering Kensaku. After that he fled back into the house then transformed himself as one of the golden eggs in order for him to wait on Kensaku to leave the premise. A while later the Egg Monster has been laying even more golden eggs and he sent the kids to deliver them to practically anyone in Japan, so the main question how to get the Egg Monster away from the civilians without hurting them.
So once Kensaku goes undercover as one of the delivery people in order to get to where the Egg Monster is at he shed the disguise and lures the Egg Monster to the train yard as he was then ambushed by the rest of Battle Fever J. So with that he sends out the Cutmen to battle the team only for it to be wiped out, so he decided to high tail it out of there and the Battle Fever chased after him to a coal mine. After taking out the rest of the Cutmen it was high time that the Egg Monster needed some big help, so after summoning the big bot lookalike the team used Pentaforce to annihilate the Egg Monster and then used Battle Fever Robo to battle the giant lookalike. After that it was then destroyed by this finisher called Cross Fever, thus everyone that ate those fried eggs were freed from his influence.
