Ekh
Ekh is the main antagonist of Wow, a Talking Fish, an Arminfilm short film.
Appearance[]
Ekh’s primary appearance is that of a morbidly obese crocodilian humanoid with facial hair, a fez, a red coat, a blue shirt, and a pair of light green pants with a stripe.
When he initially appeared, Ekh took the form of a colorful stream of smoke with multiple faces on it. For much of the short, he had a second mouth as well.
He also had a variety of other forms that range from having multiple limbs, to the face of Santa Claus, to a snowy hill.
Powers and Skills[]
Ekh holds powers over shapeshifting and takes on a variety of forms. He can also split parts of himself off into a separate object he can manipulate from afar.
Biography[]
After an old man returned to the shore without fish, he accidentally summons Ekh who proclaimed himself a kind and powerful wizard. Realizing the old man had nothing to eat, he grants him a magical table before the old man runs off.
However, when he revisits his wife, they get confronted by Ekh via the table with the intent to greet them at midnight and ask riddles until dawn with the risk of death if the two fail. Soon a young man arrives in time to counter Ekh’s threat by telling him a variety of stories so confusing it causes Ekh to rocket off into the sky and explode. It was then revealed the young man who came to the rescue was the talking fish the old man let go.
