Turismo[]
In this mission, Claude receives a notice from his pager and goes to the public telephone in the Hepburn Heights district, where he's greeted by "El Burro" who, to show his courage, summons him to an illegal race, so Claude looks for the fastest car and leads to the starting point where he competes and ends up victorious, receiving $10,000 for the victory. This mission can be repeated after the mission "Big'n'Veiny" is completed.
I Scream, You Scream[]
In this mission, Claude answers the phone a second time. El Burro answers angrily because his partners are going to withdraw his affiliation to the porn industry, but knowing that they love ice cream, he sends Claude to steal an ice cream truck, look for the briefcase bomb in the Harwood district and drive to the Atlantic Quay warehouse to distract them with the sound of the truck causing them to get close enough where Claude walks away to activate the bomb from a distance, thus destroying the truck and killing all the partners. Claude performs all these tasks and receives $8,000.
Trial By Fire[]
In this mission, Claude answers the phone a third time. El Burro states that a Triad had stolen a car (a Diablo Stallion) belonging to him that had some of his memorability in it, then wrecked and burned the car beyond use. In an act of revenge, El Burro wants Claude to travel to Chinatown, collect a flamethrower stashed there and kill 25 Triads. Claude is awarded $10,000 for accomplishing this.
Big'n'Veiny[]
In this final El Burro mission, Claude answers the phone a fourth time. El Burro states that a thief had stolen another one of his vehicles while high on a drug known as "SPANK", and also left the van's back door open, which dropped many copies of pornographic material. Claude is instructed to collect all the magazines by following a trail of them, kill the thief, and then return the magazines to an adult shop in the Red Light District. Claude is awarded $20,000 for this mission.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City[]
Supply & Demand[]
El Burro is mentioned in this mission by Ricardo Diaz. At the start of the mission's cutscene, Diaz is angry at his VCR for not playing one of El Burro's famous pornographic movies, proving that even in the 80s, El Burro's adult film business was going strong. After Diaz shoots his VCR out of rage, he then realizes it wasn't plugged in.
Trivia[]
- There are characters in the original Grand Theft Auto and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars also named El Burro, although they are all completely separate characters.
- However, the El Burro in GTA could be an alternate universe version of the character as they look and sound exactly alike.
