~ El Muro. |
Francisco Ricardo Munguia, better known as El Muro, is one of the secondary antagonists of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
He is the head of security for the Santa Blanca Cartel and childhood friend of its leader, El Sueño, who also made him his personal bodyguard. His high rank within the cartel is the reason why his brother, La Plaga, is the Chief of Sicarios for the Cartel.
Biography[]
El Muro was born in 1977 in a poor, remote Mexican village in the shadows of the high-level narcos' mansions, as stated in-game he and Sueño were born hours apart between each other. El Sueño left the village when Muro was only eleven years old. Instead of joining Santa Blanca, Muro decided to join the Mexican army. He was then transferred to the Special Forces Unit, working for the local narcos protecting them and their shipments. Muro was paid in promotions and money. When El Muro met Sueño again he finally decided to join El Sueño and left Mexico with him to Bolivia.
Operation: Kingslayer[]
After Nomad and his team of Ghosts bring down two security bosses, El Sueño will get frustrated with La Plaga and orders El Muro to kill him. However, El Muro decides to let his brother live, telling him to run. After the Ghosts kill La Plaga, Muro believes El Sueño killed him and pays Unidad officers to take out Sueño. After the rest of Sant Blanca's security bosses are defeated, the Ghosts end up capturing El Muro where he is then taken away by the CIA and gives them all the information he has on El Sueño.
