El Toro is a minor antagonist in Timon & Pumbaa, serving as the main antagonist in both episodes "The Pain In Spain" and "Running of the Bullies".

He was a champion of Plaza De Toros until he was replaced by Pumbaa and had attempted to defeated both of him which he then gets defeated and eventually became a member of a herd of bulls preparing for the "Running of the Bulls". He also has a quick temper when he gets easily agitated by Timon and Pumbaa.

He was voiced by Jeff Bennett in his first appearance and later S. Scott Bullock in his second appearance.

Biography[]

El Toro makes his first appearance in "Pain in Spain" where he is known to be the bravest bull in all of Spain and three times brave according to Pumbaa and capable of defeating each Pumbaa. This wouldn't last for too long when his popularity goes down hill and his pay being too high as well as being inadequate and overweight. As a result, his owners Carlos and Consuelo Quint, replace him with Pumbaa who was mistaken for another bull in his disguise. Outraged, El Toro decides to prove his worth to exercise and vows to make his return.

His rhetoric eventually came to frution when he returned now healthier than ever from one hour process of exercise from one program despite the other programs failing him and imprisons Pumbaa in a toilet. He goes to the arena where he battles against Timon and proved too much for Timon. Pumbaa was able to escape his imprisonment and comes to aid Timon but in a dire situation with El Toro making his final move to kill them both. After the two chat on a way to defeat him, Timon manage to dance on El Toro while poking his eyes and using mouse traps on him and Pumbaa blows his horn at him. Timon then aims a plunger at El Toro, causing him to back away until he gets caught in a cannon and gets blown into the same toilet he used on Pumbaa earlier, trapping and defeating him.

After this, he was most likely fired once again but became a member of the other bulls which are a part of the celebration for the "Running of the Bulls".

He would eventually makes his second appearance in "Running of the Bullies" where he first seen marching with the other bulls to a bull cage. He soon meets Timon and Pumbaa again when he pokes Timon for wearing red and insisted that he leaves calling him a mongoose before Timon then insults him by calling him a "mook" as he usually does. This would leave to a heated argument between him and Timon which Pumbaa comes to worry about this. As the other bulls made the run for the Running of the Bullies, El Toro remains the only one behind to settle the scores with Timon which he chases after him all over Spain. Timon decides to fight him eventually, but Pumbaa intervenes scolding both of them for their actions. El Toro and Timon manage to resolve about this being part of the Running of the Bulls, which drives Pumbaa mad and declares the "Running of the Warthog" before he insanely chases after them back at the bull cage. El Toro soon gave an advice to Pumbaa to help him relax. He and Timon are later seen at the beach relaxing as they have a niceful chat while Pumbaa remained vicious snarling and running around.

Trivia[]
