The Elderly Mr. Meeseeks are the titular main antagonists of the Rick and Morty episode, "Meeseeks and Destroy". They are a group of rogue Mr. Meeseeks, who go insane after Jerry Smith fails to get two strokes off of his golf game.
They were all portrayed by Justin Roiland, until season 7, who also voiced Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith in the same show, as well as Earl of Lemongrab in Adventure Time and Blendin Blandin in Gravity Falls.
Biography[]
After Rick introduces the Meeseeks Box to Jerry, Beth and Summer, Jerry asks his Meeseeks to help him get better at golf, to which the Meeseeks complies. Jerry and the Meeseeks travel to a golf course, where Jerry gets more and more angry as he fails to complete the task. The Meeseeks, who is also frustrated, spawns another Meeseeks to help. Overtime, more and more Meeseeks are spawned to help Jerry, but fail to help him improve.
Eventually, Beth tells Jerry she is going out to dinner. Jerry, who is feeling bad about his neglect of Beth's feelings, goes out to dinner with her, which further frustrates the now elderly Meeseeks. After Jerry and Beth leave, the Meeseeks start talking about how they could have Jerry complete his task as soon as possible, in order for the Meeseeks to be killed. After some insulting, the Meeseeks begin to fight each other brutally, showing how no matter how hard they try, the only way they can die, is for Jerry to complete his task.
After fighting for several minutes, the first Meeseeks Jerry spawned, comes up with a plan to murder Jerry in order to "fulfill his task," to which the Meeseeks happily agree. Somehow, the Meeseeks gather various guns and track down Jerry and Beth at the restaurant. The Meeseeks chase Jerry and Beth into the kitchen, where Jerry and Beth hide in the freezer, while the Meeseeks hold four people hostage. Just before the original Meeseeks murders one of the hostages, Jerry comes out of the freezer and uses a severed pipe and tomato to prove that his swing has improved. The Meeseeks rejoice before all dying, excluding a "Stickler" Meeseeks, who asks about Jerry's short game, before taking a woman hostage with a knife. Jerry then hits an onion into a coffee cup, which finally dispatches all of the Mr. Meeseeks.
