Eleanor Kurtz is a major antagonist in season two of the Freeform TV series Beyond.
She was portrayed by Amy Farrington.
Biography[]
Eleanor Kurtz is part of a group interested in The Realm and that believes the Afterlife is mankind's best hope for surival. Kurtz impersonates FBI agent, Gale Borden and meets at a diner with the Matthews family so that she can get information from them about Hollow Sky. She talks with Tom and Diane Matthews, convincing Diane to get back together with Pastor Ian who is a member of Helping Hands, a group tied to Hollow Sky. Kurtz attempts to gain all the knowledge she can.
Luke Matthews meets up with Kurtz and tells her everything that has been going on with Hollow Sky, giving her the information that she needs. Kurtz and her men go to Arthur's home where she had paid off Arthur's servant to help her out and give her access to the machine that will give her access to The Realm. Rather than pay him, Kurtz has her men kill him and they leave with the machine.
Kurtz and her men go to Tess Shoemacher's home, pretending to be FBI. Kurtz reveals her identity to Shoemacher and tells her what her true goals are. She has Shoemacher bring her to Hollow Sky's base. Yellow Jacket arrives at the base with his men, where Kurtz and her men engage in a shootout with them. Kurtz and the other survivors clear out. Outside of the fire, Kurtz watches and keeps up with her cover as FBI Agent, Gale Borden. After setting fire to Hollow Sky with Luke, Willa arrives home, where she is captured by Kurtz.

Eleanor Kurtz is highly cunning and manipulative individual who will do whatever she has to in order to achieve her goal, whether or not she has to hurt and kill people. She successfully deceives the Matthews family into giving information about Hollow Sky. She believes that the Afterlife will save mankind and that all of her crimes are justified for the greater good.
