Biography[]
At some point in the past, a man was executed for murder by electric chair in a New York prison. Years later, his ghost was encountered in the subway tunnels beneath the prison by subway worker Patty Tolan followed Rowan North onto the tracks. The ghost manifested as a gaunt, bearded man in a prison uniform with glowing red eyes, still wearing the restraints from his electric chair, with electrical bolts sizzling all over him. He terrified Patty, who fled and went to the Ghostbusters for assistance.
Returning to the subway with them, they found that the executed murderer's ghost was still floating there on the tracks. Initially, despite his fearsome appearance, his made no hostile moves towards the four women, or showed any signs that he was aggressive or even aware of his surroundings. However, when Erin Gilbert attempted to use a prototype proton pack to capture him, he became enraged and attempted to attack them. They were saved however when a train came along. The four women clambered up onto the boarding platform while the ghostly murderer was "hit" by the train, passing through it, and wound up more or less trapped in the final car, with Patty commenting that he was on his way to Queens.
Later, the Ghostbusters faced him again during the Fourth Cataclysm created by Rowan, when he joined Mayhem and the ghost of Gertrude Aldridge in attacking them, but he was defeated.
