The Elf Tribe are major antagonists in the Black Clover franchise, serving as the major antagonists of the first saga.
They were an ancient civilization that initially resided in the location that would later on be Clover Kingdom. Following their resurrection thanks to Patolli, they seek revenge against humans, thinking that they were the one that caused chaos and near extinction to their species. It was however later on revealed by Zagred himself to have done the massacre.
Appearances[]
They had almost exact appearances as humans except with sharp ears. Most of them had white hair and wore Greek attires.
When one becomes a dark elf, their skin and iris are turned into a darker color as well as their own magic now displays a darker and frightening mana.
History[]
Because of their immensely powerful magic that they gain naturally, they were being viewed superior by humans leaving them to fear the elves. This led the humans to gain to trying to gain their powers by massacring them, nearly wiping out the civilization. Because of this, their leader Licht who was devastated for losing his closed one causing him to transform into gigantic demon before getting stopped by his friend Lemiel Silvamillion Clover who then become the first Wizard King after defeating him. Because of this the childrens were told that elves were demons and had evil desire to take over the world. After the tragic incident, the demon Zagred appeared and suspended the elves’ souls by using a Reincarnation magic spell. However Licht’s wife and his twin childrens were rescued Secre Swallowtail that fortunately allowing their species to move on and move to an elf village they built somewhere near the Heart Kingdom.
This spell prevented them from finding peace. The first elf to be reincarnated was Patolli, who then founded the Eye of the Midnight Sun. With his leadership, the resurrection of other elves in human bodies was completed. Due to the fact that humans and the Clover Kingdom were responsible for the massacre and murder of Licht, the elves harbor a deep-seated hatred towards all humans and seek to destroy the kingdom.
