Elijah is the overarching antagonist of Season 2 of the Everything is Fine horror Webtoon.
He was the original mayor of the Lakeview neighborhood who would abuse his power and ruin lives for his own benefit, which would last until Laura killed him and took his position.
Personality[]
Though never appearing in person, he is shown to be one of the few completely unsympathetic characters, contrasting the people who are victims of the New Government.
He is described and inferred to be a scummy man who does anything to remain in power and shows no remorse or qualms about killing anybody for not giving him what he wants and will force women to sleep with him with the threat of having them outcasted or having their children murdered. He also created a system where rule breakers are hunted down for sport.
Biography[]
Elijah's past is unknown but once the new government came, he was assigned to become the mayor of Lakeview. He was assigned to rank one couple up and one down every two weeks, though he could red-list whoever he wanted. He would enforce rules such as having rule-breakers hunted down by other citizens for sport out of his own amusement.
Knowing how much power he had, he would abuse it and take bribes, make threats and force women to sleep with him with the threat of red-listing them and having their children murdered, fully aware the women would do anything for their children. Realizing he couldn't be stopped due to bribing the rest of the Council, Laura would stab him to death and take his position.
He is mentioned in Episodes 51 and 52 when Laura tells Maggie her backstory.
