Elliot Buddish is a minor antagonist in Season 1 of NBC's TV show Hannibal.
He was portrayed by Seann Gallagher.
History[]
Elliot Budish ("The Angel Maker") is a 35-year-old truck driver who murders Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, Roger and Marilyn Brunner, and a male police officer. He was married to Emma Buddish, with whom he has two sons, but she eventually left him.
After his wife left him, he was diagnosed with cancer, after which he became a recluse, severing all contact with his family. Even though he was often angry, he never hit his wife, nor their sons. He used to live in Roanoke, Virginia. According to Buddish's mother, he was never a religious person, but as his death approached, he became fixated on religion, making his victims into angels to watch over him as he slept and even cutting off his own genitals to try and transform himself into an angel.
When he was a child, he had a near death experience that happened on the farm where he grew up. Elliot killed himself on that same farm. He was found by Jack Crawford and Will Graham.
Moments later, Graham had visions of Elliot attempting to kill him.

- His victims are all guilty: the first two couples are a husband and wife rapist team, and the police officer he murdered had once gone to prison. This makes Elliot an terrorist and a vigilante.
- His killing method is Blood eagle.
