Elliot Palmeira is a minor antagonist in Series 4 of the TV series Killing Eve. He is the abusive older brother of Pam and her boss at the family's funeral home business. He is also the primary reason which Pam signs up to become an assassin for the Twelve.
He is portrayed by Manpreet Bachu.
Biography[]
After the deaths of his parents, Elliot became the head of the family business, the J. Palmeira & Son funeral home, where he has to employ his younger sister Pam. He despised the job and wanted to leave her at a foster home and go to university instead, blaming Pam and her job as an embalmer for his misfortune. While he runs the business, he spends a lot of the time verbally and emotionally abusing Pam, mocking her for having been near corpses, apparently scaring off the customers and would mock about how their father hated her.
In 2022, he met Eve Polastri who came to inquire about one of the bodies treated there, Rhian Bevan. Elliot tried to call for Pam but was then called to another incoming customer.
Days later, he went to collect files and became appalled when Pam came close to him, calling her a freak. He left and didn't say thank you when she finished another body. That evening, he came to see Pam and told her she was bad for the business, scaring off the customers. He then gloated about how he could've been at university instead of taking care of her, telling her she was a nobody and said dad wanted mum to get an abortion with her. After Pam coldly mocked him about dad would be embarrassed to see how Elliot was running his business, Elliot furiously locked her in the room and left her for the night.
The next day, Elliot came to the lab and was scared by Pam who asked if he was scared of ghosts. He insisted he wasn't and demanded she apologise. After she didn't, he grabbed her and threatened to put her face in a tub of embalming fluid. When she said sorry, she hit him with a tray. Shocked by this, he said he would kill her and slammed her against the wall and tried to choke her, only for her to fight him off. After she grabbed a knife, Elliot tried to run only for her stopped him and stabbed him 19 times in the back, killing him and later embalming his body and left it in the morgue.
Trivia[]
- Although Elliot has only appeared in two episodes and hasn't exactly committed many crimes, he is the primary reason that Pam tried to become an assassin and commit murders for them, similar to how Tatiana is the reason her daughter became Villanelle.
