The Elves are major antagonists in the Norse era of the God of War franchise. Split into two main factions, the Light and Dark Elves, they are a species that are constantly at war with itself.

Biography

Background

The Elf War started long ago after Freyr left the lands. Freyr had initially negotiated peace between the Elves, but his absence resulted in the conflict sparking up again.

God of War (2018)

Svartáljǫfurr, the Dark Elf King, is killed by Kratos and Atreus.

God of War Ragnarök

Alva, the Light Elf Queen, is killed by Kratos and Atreus.

Appearance

The Light Elves usually wear white robes, and appear more graceful.

The Dark Elves are more insect-like, with bug wings.
