Hell's Gate Prisoner Emboss (ヘルズゲート囚・エンボス Heruzu Gēto Shū Enbosu) is a minor antagonist from Mirai Sentai Timeranger, first appeared as a main antagonist of the episode "Case File 39: A Lie Soaked in Rain". He is a deranged prisoner who is extremely dangerous and known for creating spreading a biological virus that wiped out hundreds of innocents in the 30th century.
He was voiced by Takahiro Natsui.
Biography[]
30th Century[]
Emboss was a deranged scientist that spread a virus he created known as the Reda virus that gave the victims red bruises on their necks. Along with an orange amoeba looking spot in the middle that covered the body. Although he himself got infected and was driven mad by it, seeking to disperse it through society. During the year 2961 when it was spread it killed up to the hundreds. This in turn brought destruction its wake. While he could have had the cure he refused it and instead took great pleasure and gratification in the death and anguish of who he came across.
For his crime of mass murder against innocents he was sent to Hell's Gate the highest confinement due to be being highly dangerous, insane, and violent.
Present Day[]
Emboss was freed by the increasingly mad Gien who wanted to see the death that he could cause. This was done behind Don Dolnero's back who was against freeing these prisoners who weren't in it for money but simply for murder. After being released he spread it through his blood and transmitted to innocents who collapsed and started getting high fevers, leading them to fall into a coma. Later nurses were getting infected by the patients and the news caught on to the events.
He nearly succeeded in spreading his disease across the city, until Gien arrived and revealed that such a vaccine to the Reda Virus was created, freaking Emboss out as he became determined to destroy it while knocking TimeFire away. TimeBlue rescued the vaccine and the whole team defeated Emboss. He was enlarged by removing the seal patch that was located on his left knee before being brought in with Shadow Alpha & V-Rex Robo.
