Biography[]
Emil was a current member of the Suicide Squad and partnered with Rick Flag in a mobile base van in Smallville. Flag looked over several computer monitors tracking a marker. LaSalle informed Flag the target was heading toward the Kent Farm. Their target was General Sam Lane and plotted to eliminate him to prevent the passing of the Vilgilante Registration Act.
Flag later approaches Lucy Lane in town, disguised as a soldier from a local base and warned her that her father was in danger from pro-vigilante sympathizers. Flag told Lucy to plant a tracker pen on her father for protection. Elsewhere, Emil confirms the tracker worked and that General Lane was leaving the Kent Farm, going to the Talon.
Now that he wasn't under Clark Kent's protection, the agent prepared to launch a missile at Sam. Just as LaSalle prepares to launch the missile, When Clark went to Watchtower, he learned that Tess Mercer had managed to decode the encrypted message. They launched the missile that was targeted at the Talon.
At Watchtower, Clark realized General Lane was the intended target and went to rescue Lois Lane before exploding in the Talon from the missile. LaSalle informed Flag that General Lane survived the explosion when their mobile base was attacked by Green Arrow and The Blur who flipped over their van. Before they could do anything, Flag evaded further interrogation when Emil teleported himself and Flag away. LaSalle later bombed an Anti-Vigilante support building when the bill passed and teleported away as the explosions went off.
