The Emperor is a major antagonist in the 2023 Roblox Tower Defense game Tower Defense X. He is the pinnacle model of the Eradicator lineup, armed with an X-poleaxe and has several deadly abilities.
He is voiced by Prntzo, who also voiced Ephialtes from FORSAKEN.
Appearance[]
The Emperor is depicted in human-like proportions for an Eradicator-class boss. He sports white armor all over his body with red glowing accents, and his hands has red spiked fingers. His head has an X-shaped line with a reddish glow inside on his faceplate, horns that are arranged like a crown, and a prominent red set of teeth. He has an X-shaped wing on his back. His main weapon is a poleaxe with X-shaped blade.
Biography[]
Nightmare Mode[]
Being Dr. Xenon's latest creation along with Alpha Predator, he is sent to destroy the GDA with the army of zombies as a part of her desperate efforts to do so.
In the final wave of Nightmare Mode aka Wave 50, the Emperor would appear on path, boasting extremely high health and deadly abilities. When making an entrance, he roars that it stunned all of the towers. Unique among the bosses, the Emperor doesn't damage the base upon reaching the end, instead he uses his poleaxe by firing a projectile to damage it after manipulating time. In the end, the Emperor is ultimately defeated thanks to the efforts of GDA, but he chooses to unleash his last resort attack with his poleaxe before exploding, presumably attracting Calamity.
Ultra Mode[]
The Emperor would return as a major boss in Ultra Mode, which is considered as much more difficult than Nightmare Mode. He appears in Wave 46, accompanied by Destructor, Eradicator MK2+, and X2 Fighters. In this mode, his stats are the same as in Nightmare Mode.
Trivia[]
- Before the release of Nightmare Mode, he has an unused old version dubbed "Encore Eradicator", intended to be the newest model of the lineup. He also has another unused design which closely resembles his final design, with his weapon being just a spear.
- The Emperor's design has a resemblance to several mechas such as the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, and Queen Tegajune from No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger.
- He is the only Eradicator series boss to be fully voiced, as shown when he's defeated in the gameplay.
