Emperor Palpatine, also known as Darth Sidious, is the main antagonist of the Angry Birds Star Wars series, serving as the main antagonist of the 2012 mobile video game Angry Birds Star Wars and its 2013 prequel Angry Birds Star Wars II.
In the Join the Porkside promo, he was voiced by Ian McDiarmid, who portrays his original counterpart in the original Star Wars franchise.
Biography[]
Angry Birds Star Wars[]
Emperor Palpatine is behind what the evil pigs are doing. He was later revealed in the final chapter, Death Star II and he also appeared as the final boss in the level of the game. In that level, he shoots lightning to anything thrown to him. After the birds have almost defeated him, Darth Vader does the final strike and defeated him. In the cutscene, Darth Vader sacrificed himself to save his son, Luke Skywalker and to defeat Emperor Palpatine.
Angry Birds Star Wars II[]
Emperor Palpatine appeared as a playable character in the Pork Side. His ability is to shoot lightning. Lightning can be conducted through iron blocks.
In the cutscene, he wears a false beak when he disguises himself as Chancellor Palpatine, but he later takes it off when he shows his true nature.
Appearance[]
Emperor Palpatine appeared as King Pig, based on the crown he is wearing. Since he has a black hood, his crown and ears are covered. He also has green skin, but whitened and wrinkled.
Personality[]
Emperor Palpatine is a cruel type, since he started the Pig Empire.
