Empire Bay Triads

The Empire Bay Triads, also known as the Tongs are the main antagonists in the final arc of Mafia II.

History

In Chapter 12: Sea Gift Henry Tomasino, Joe Barbaro and Vito Scaletta make a heroin deal with them after taking out a loan from Bruno Levine. Shortly after Henry, Joe and Vito purchase the drugs to sell a gang impersonating The Empire Bay Police Department try to steal the drugs from them at the Triads warehouse leading to a massive fight.

In Chapter 13: Exit The Dragon Carlo, finds out about Henry's deal with the Triads which leads to a 60,000 dollar fine. But then it gets worse when the Chinese double cross Henry finding out that he was a mole working for the government and have him slaughtered in Lincoln Park. Joe and Vito then massacre the Red Dragon Restaurant and kill Zhe Yun Wong. Which leads to their leader Mr. Chu wanting the Italian crime families dead since they assume it was them who attacked their restaurant and it allows the Feds to put away all the Empire Bay crime organizations out of business.
