Enforcers are supporting antagonists from the Roblox game, Deepwoken.
As their name suggests, they are demonic constructs that act as Enforcers for the Voices of The Depths and act as one of the bosses that are encountered in The Depths trial. They also appear in the Hell Mode gamemode and the Trial of One.
Description[]
Roughly 4 metres tall, Enforcers for the mast part take the form of a figure in dark blue armor with gray highlights and a black material underneath. Their head is a spiked helmet with eight white teeth attached to it, but no lips, as well as two clusters of three eyes, with the color varying from the standard red to a dull orange. They can wield a variety of weapons, though due to their size, they always use larger weapons, such as greatswords, greataxes and greathammers. They are also capable of extending their arm and manipulating gravity to pull the unsuspecting in.
Biography[]
Origin[]
It's unclear when they were first formed, but following the Drowning of Celtor, the Voices of The Depths began to create them from the souls of those who failed their trials, twisting them into the axe wielding behemoths that became known as Enforcers. When an adventurer powerful enough entered the Depths Trial, they deployed them for the first time. However, as more and more people became strong enough to warrant an Enforcer, people began to learn how to properly fight them, and as such the Enforcers started to cease to be a threat. Annoyed by this, the Voices two new variants, one wielding a greatsword and one wielding a greathammer. Though for a while this added difficulty, they too were learnt and easily defeated by many. As a last resort, the Voices decided to use Nautilodaunt to combat the especially powerful. Unfortunately for them, Enforcers are hostile to all creatures, including Nautilodaunt, and if the two were ever used in a trial at the same time, they would often end up fighting each other to the death instead.
Year 1363[]
A Diver named Dr. Carrion began research into the monsters of The Depths, eventually leading him to replicate their abilities using their body parts. He had people pluck the eyes from Enforcers, allowing him to grant people their Gyrokinetic abilities.
Trivia[]
- They are inspired by the Kraeken Cyclops from Salt and Sanctuary.
- Many have drawn parallels between them and the Nautilodaunt. Both are humanoid monsters with relatively low durability that make up for it with their intelligence that are meant to be fought in the endgame, are capable of feinting, blocking and parrying attacks, both draw inspiration from the game Salt and Sanctuary, the Enforcers are souls turned into monsters while Nautilodaunt turn people into monsters, both fight for reasons other than hunger or animal instinct and to reach them, one must enter from gates on opposite sides of the city.
