Enraenra was a gas-themed Minor Youkai who served the Youkai Army Corps and a minor antagonist in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, appearing as the main antagonist of the 22nd episode.
He was voiced by the late Takuzou Kamiyama who previously voiced Cockroach Monger and Teakettle Monger in Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan, Earth Curiosities Beast Anagmas in Hikari Sentai Maskman, Chibuchian Butchy in Choujuu Sentai Liveman, Sumo Bōma, Ruffian Bōma, Mirror Bōma and Gum-Gum Bōma in Kousoku Sentai Turboranger, Galactic Merchant Dongoros in Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman, Noodle Dimension and Dimensional Mammoth in Choujin Sentai Jetman, Company President Gravestone in Gosei Sentai Dairanger and later voiced BB Koiya in Gekisou Sentai Carranger.

Enraenra first came to be when humanity's negative emotions physically manifested and formed thier own group under the leadership of the most powerful of thier kind; Daimaou. One thousand years ago, Enraenra was among the army of Yokai who attacked Ninjaman whilst he defended a village. Tengu was evidently able to escape alive but Ninjaman was banished by the Three God Generals as he slaughtered his entire village after mistaking them for Yokai.
Enraenra was ultimately among the Yokai who managed to avoid being sealed behind the Seal Door by the Ancient Kakurangers but was rendered powerless when the Yo Power was sealed with Daimaou.
Kakuranger[]
By 1994, Enraenra has evolved into a form consisting of car instead of hearth smoke by the time that the Yo Power is released by Kappa.
Enraenra is first seen gassing the Announcer and then a multitude of other people with the intention to make them asphyxiate. However, the Kakurangers find the can where he is hiding and protect themselves by morphing before tossing him away and forcing him to reveal himself. Upon revealing his goal, Sasuke throws his Red Slicer but it passes straight through the Youkai since he is made entirely out of gas with subsequent attacks from Jiraya also failing. Delighted with thier failure, Enraenra blasts them with explosive gas and fire before vanishing to introduce himself to the audience and continue his plan. As he absorbs car exhausts though, Enraenra is run down by Nekomaru and its lack of exhaust smoke (due to newly installed solar panels) enrages the Youkai as it races to Maiko's lab. Realising that it is solar powered, and since he relies on exhaust smoke to power his signature powers, he decides to destroy it to prevent solar power being used on all cars. Although he starts smashing the vehicle, Seikai jumps up to fight the Youkai so they fight and the Kakuranger is overwhelmed and sprayed with numbing gas that makes it hard to move. Before he can kill Seikai though, the other Kakurangers arrive and morph but he blasts the team with fire and retreats again.
Enraenra soon reappears in a plaza making people laugh and then cry repeatedly before the Kakurangers confront him again. However, he manages to easily overwhelm them with even Seikai being unable to match him after he arrives. However, Maiko and her assistants arrive with a hoover which they use to suck up Enraenra who has to enlarge himself to escape. The Kakurangers form Muteki Shogun but even the Blazing Shogun Sword passes straight through Enraenra who forces the Kakurangers back to normal size with laughing and crying gas and he starts smashing through buildings. Though he tries to crush them, Maiko gives them an ice machine that they use to freeze Enraenra solid. With Enraenra helpless, the Kakurangers summon the Beast General Fighters and use a giant variation on the Kakuranger Ball's Super Kakure Shoot to finally kill Enraenra.
Enraenra is recalled by the Announcer whilst recapping the Kakurangers' war against the Yokai during his feature on the Kakurangers.
Enraenra is heard, along with all the other defeated Yokai, behind the Seal Door after Daimaou is finally sealed away by the Kakurangers. Reeling that they are now powerless in captivity, the Yokai all vow that they will one day be reborn and regain their power, cursing humanity.
Personality[]
Enraenra was a sadistic and petty Youkai who wanted to kill as many people as possible just because Nekomaru ran him over. He was also obsessed with gas; replacing the ends of many words with gas and ending most of his sentences with "de gas."
Powers and Abilities[]
- Strength: Enraenra easily threw off Seikai when he restrained the Youkai and managed to throw Jiraya over his head by jabbing him in the gut.
- Durability: In his solid form, Enraenra was run over by Nekomaru and repeatedly jump kicked by Seikai but was completely unfazed.
- Gas Transformation: Enraenra could turn into a gas at will to prevent attacks from hitting him.
- Laughing Gas Blasts: Enraenra could also turn into white laughing gas to make humans laugh hysterically and uncontrollably.
- Gas Attack: Enraenra could turn into a white smoggy mass to smash through buildings and reduce them to rubble.
- Longevity: Enraenra survived for at least six thousand years with no side effects.
- Gas Soray: Enraenra could fire a thick spray of mist from his visor.
- Teleportation: Enraenra could teleport to any location at will by vanishing into thin air.
- Instantaneous Teleportation: Enraenra could instantly teleport around the battlefield quickly enough to avoid a jump slash from eikai.
- Fourth Wall Awareness: Enraenra spoke directly to the audience and introduced his Youkai origins as the Announcer had been incapacitated by his laughing gas.
- Gas Absorption: Enraenra could absorb exhaust smoke into a vent in his stomach to produce more of his laughing gas.
- Hand to Hand Combatant: Enraenra was a skilled enough fighter to overwhelm Sasuke in battle.
- Image Projection: Enraenra could generate a massive image of his torso into the sky and slash Seikai with his arms.
- Yokai Lightning Cloud Summoning: Enraenra was able to summon the Yokai Lightning Cloud to enlarge himself with its Yo Power.
Weaknesses[]
- Exhaust Smoke Reliance: Enraenra relied on exhaust smoke to power his abilities. If this smoke was no longer produced, such as all cars becoming solar powered, he would be helpless which was why he targeted Nekomaru.
- Hoovers: Enraenra could be trapped in hoovers and was unable to escape until he enlarged.
- Petrification: After being frozen by Black Gammer. Enraenra was unable to move and was easily killed.
Arsenal[]
- Fist: Enraenra had a normal left hand to punch his enemies with.
- Fire Blasts: Enraenra could fire orange flames from his left palm that, when combined with some gas he had sprayed, caused a massive explosion and took down all five Kakurangers.
- Club Fist: Enraenra had a large club-like fist to smack his enemies with. The palm had three gas lids (red, blue, and yellow) which he could rotate at will to spray different gasses.
- Numbing Gas: Enraenra could switch to his red gas lid and spray his enemies with black gas that would make them so numb that they would struggle to move.
- Crying Gas: Enraenra could switch to his blue gas lid and spray his enemies with red gas that would make them cry uncontrollably.

- Enraenra was the final independent member of the Youkai Army Corps as all remaining Youkai served Gashadokuro or Daimaou.
- Due to being killed by the Kakuranger Ball, Enraenra was not adapted into Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
