Enrico Balazar is a major antagonist in The Drawing of the Three and a minor antagonist in Wolves of the Calla in The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. He is a ruthless crime boss and dealer.

History[]

Balazar attended business school at NYU for two years. He became a powerful crime lord who sold cocaine and heroin.

Balazar hired Eddie to smuggle cocaine into New York. Roland helped Eddie hide the cocaine, but Balazar became suspicious. First he kidnapped Eddie's brother, Henry. He gave Henry some Heroin to keep him quiet, but didn't realize that Herny overdoses.

He brought Eddie (with Roland in his mind) to his headquarters at the Leaning Tower. Balazar asked Eddie where the cocaine was, and Eddie said he needed to go to the bathroom to get it. Balazar sent Jack Andolini into the bathroom with Eddie, but didn't realize that he took Andolini through the portal and he was killed by the Lobstrosities.

Roland came back with Eddie to Balazar's Headquarters. When Eddie found out Henry was dead, they started a shootout. Roland killed Balazar.

Even though Balazar was dead in Eddie's world, he was alive in the Keystone world. He was hired by the Sombra corporation to force Calvin Tower to sell them the vacant lot containing the Rose. He initially sent Jack Andolini, who failed. He later sent gunmen to kill Roland and Eddie, but Eddie and Roland were able to stop them.
