Ephialtes is a skin for Noli in the Roblox 2024 asymmetrical game, FORSAKEN, and his name literally means nightmare in Greek, implying that he is the personification of all nightmares. He was also the reinstated version of the scrapped skin called Pandora in FORSAKEN , and this scrapped skin is also a script and exploit, but later got banned in Roblox.
He is voiced by Prntzo, who also voices Emperor from Tower Defense X.
Appearance[]
Ephialtes wears a wide-brimmed black hat on his head, with two white horns on the side of the hat. He also wears a white mask with glowing eyes and mouth inside of it. He has a white overcoat with black pants, a purple undershirt, and his glowing void star is now purple with a purple glowing Roman clock floating around it. He has purple like energy flowing around his body, along with the same glowing purple Roman clock appearing at the bottom of his body, following him wherever he goes. He then has the Void Star crown at the top of his wide-brimmed hat as well.
Backstory[]
Not much is known about his backstory, however, we can assume that Ephialtes has been living around for a very long time causing nightmares to people who dare go approach him. It's also assumed that he knows everything about the person's guilt and delinquency, judging by his voice lines when killing survivors in FORSAKEN, comforting them when the survivor can't hear him anymore. He may share the same backstory when Noli voluntarily kills the survivors without being told to.
Personality[]
Ephialtes is a cocky and unsettling antagonist in Forsaken, constantly applying fear to survivors who had a huge tragic or guilty event in their past. But, there are times when he felt sorry for particular survivors, examples being Builderman and Shedletsky, who tried their best to protect the survivors, as shown by his voicelines. But for survivors like Two Time and Taph, he despises the fact that they had a very tragic past, with them being the reason that this happened. As for Taph, he assumably doesn't like his traps and tripmines, so he had to deal with him quickly. But generally, he deeply respects survivors who show bravery and courage, and disrespects survivors with little to no bravery, and a guilty past.

- Ephialtes seemingly likes people with psychic powers and umbrakinesis as well, fitting with his own aesthetic.
- He also may be a Greek person, since his name means "nightmare" in Greek.
