The Eradicator MK I, also known as MK I Combat after its upgrade in Endless mode, is a major antagonist in the Roblox video game Tower Defense X.
It is the first of Dr. Xenon's Eradicator series of robots (Excluding Erad-B, the Prototype Eradicator) and the first one to be encountered by the player (assuming they play the modes in difficulty order). It is also the only Eradicator so far to appear in multiple forms.
Appearance[]
Normal[]
The Eradicator is a giant armored humanoid sporting black armor, his weapons consist of a sword, and a tri-barrel rocket pod. He has a helmet with orange accent, which has a red jaw and a glowing eye underneath when getting damage. On his backpack, it has a jetpack suited for retreating.
MK I Combat[]
The Eradicator MK I Combat is an upgraded version of the original Eradicator. His armor now features additional orange-colored plating on the chestplate, shoulder pads, arms and legs. His helmet now has an orange visor with horizontal grills and red headlights. His rocket pods are also upgraded complete with another pod added on his backpack. His sword weapon is given a more chainsaw-like design. When his visor gets damaged, it reveals a scarred face with exposed teeth and cybernetics.
Golden MK I Combat[]
His golden counterpart is a recolor of the original MK I Combat, complete with a white undersuit, and yellow/gold plating on his armor.
Biography[]
In difficulty order, the Eradicator MK I makes it's first appearance as the main boss of Intermediate difficulty, appearing on wave 32. After enough health is depleted, it enters it's second phase, "Electronic Rage", making it faster and giving it more abilities. After it's defeat, it will retreat by flying away.
During the Xmas 2023 event, Dr. Xenon mentions that Eradicator MK I would return. This eventually became true as the Eradicator returned in Endless mode as one of the bosses. After being defeated and retreating again on wave 35, it was presumably upgraded and returned as Eradicator MK I C (Combat) on wave 60. This version is notably much stronger than the original MK I, with the Advisor even mentioning that it wiped out a GDA base in the Europe division. Unlike the phase 2 of the original MK I, MK I Combat will regenerate all it's health and it's shield during phase 2. After being defeated once more, it attempts to retreat again, but explodes due to it's core overheating, defeating it.
If the player progress far enough in Endless, they will encounter a bonus fight against a golden Eradicator MK I C, with increased health and shield defense.

Trivia[]
- Before an update, the Eradicator MK I Combat was originally called Eradicator MK I Custom. It is unknown why this was changed.
- A fleshy face can be seen hidden under the Eradicator MK I Combat's mask during phase 2, implying that it may be a mechanically modified soldier.
- So far, the Eradicator MK I is the only boss to not explode or die after it's health is depleted, instead fleeing to return later as MK I Combat.
