The Eradicators are the secondary antagonists of the Roblox video game Tower Defense X (TDX).
They are a series of murderous robots created by Dr. Xenon to help her defeat the Commander and take over the GDA, and are some of the most recurring bosses in the game.
Biography[]
With the exception of Eradidog as it is a miniboss, all Eradicators so far have two phases, with the second phase typically being activated when the boss is at low health. Often, the second phase will simply give the boss new abilities and increase health and speed, however some Eradicators such as MK I C and it's golden version restore all of the bosses health and it's shield if it has one.
The first Eradicator, MK I, referred to by the game as simply "Eradicator", is encountered as the main boss of Intermediate difficulty. After it's defeat, it will flee by flying away. The second Eradicator, MK II, is encountered as the main boss of Expert difficulty. After it's defeat, it will lose both of it's arms before exploding, with Dr. Xenon even mentioning it in her Nightmare Xmas dialogue.
In Endless mode, MK I and MK II return as recurring bosses, along with Eradicator MK IV and Eradidog. Eradicator MK IV has a unique second phase where it's armor is destroyed and the Eradicator attempts to rush towards the base. After it's defeat, it leaps off the ground and explodes. The Eradidog appears as a recurring miniboss, shooting towers to damage and stun them.
Eradicator MK I also returns in Endless mode as MK I Combat, after presumably being upgraded. After it's defeat, it attempts to flee again, but instead explodes, defeating it.
If the player progresses far enough into Endless mode, they will encounter golden versions of MK IV and MK I C with boosted stats and abilities.
Trivia[]
- So far, the Eradidog is the only Eradicator to not be a boss.
- Interestingly, Eradicator MK III was skipped and has not appeared in game. However, it is commonly theorized that MK III was a failure and scrapped by Dr. Xenon.
- The developers have confirmed that the GDA still controls the Eradicator MK III.
