“ | Eric: I yearn for a wife, Father. What it is to be human if not for love? Victor: I created you in the interest of exploring that infinitesimal space that falls between life and death. I have not yet learned enough from you to justify doing it again. Eric: You have a wife. How is it fair that you know love and I do not? Some would suggest that if you do not make me a wife, the only fair remedy would be for me to destroy yours, Father. |

Creature Commandos[]
Shortly after receiving the information regarding the Bride's location, Frankenstein boards a miliatry helicopter to better spy on Task Force M upon their return to Belle Reve. Witnessing an interaction between the Bride and Rick Flag Sr., Frankenstein mistakenly believes the two had a relationship, triggering his insecurities. His paranoia combined to his agressive personality leads him to murder the soldiers accompanying him. After the crash of the vehicle, he began chasing Flag.
Following the general from Belle Reve, Frankenstein angrily confronts Flag in his home, resulting in a brawl. Flag successfully calms him down at gunpoint, eventually solving the misunderstanding. He offers him some tea, while recounting him the mission and his relationship with princess Ilana Rostovic. Impressed, Frankenstein tells him about his "relationship" with the Bride, omitting the real reasons she has been running away from him for centuries. After comparing Flag Sr.'s romance and his to respectively Titanic and When Harry Met Sally, the general offers a partnership; Frankenstein helps him to prevent the Rostovic' assassination attempt, in return he helps him reunite with "his Bride". Frankenstein accepts the deal and calls Flag his "best friend", much to the latter's dismay.
