When I was in Bulgaria, down the street from my 4 star hotel, the authorities had bagged a couple of guys that had 7 kilos of plutonium in coffee cans in somebody's cellar. One cupful could take out a whole city, one of these can can take out a whole country and it has no half-life. Iraq, Iran, Libya would love to get their hands on this. What would they pay? What would their enemies pay to get their hands off. I'm in sales basically and I think I've got the perfect, umm… what would you say, sales pitch? Yeah, the perfect pitch.

Personality[]

Erich Dengler is a greedy and bloodthirsty sociopath with no value for human life. He has no concerns and actually has utmost glee, marveling at the destructive capabilities of the several cannisters of nerve gas he plans to sell and the damage that they can cause, all while being very hopeful on the money that can be made could make him extremely rich. He is fanatical towards his Nazi father, viewing him as a god-like figure for having created the very dangerous weapons he intends to sell out. He also has a girlfriend but Dengler is utterly superficial towards her, loving her only for her beauty and showing no care when she or any one of his men end up being killed by Sharon when she faces off him. He is also extremely intelligent and deceptive, lowering the guards of everyone with his charisma to set up a trap, using his frontier as an art collector to smuggle in the statue containing these weapons and organizing a careful hostage taking situation for him to use for his own advantage.

Biography[]

Erich Dengler is the son of a Nazi scientist named Manferd Dengler that had developed an extremely potent and dangerous nerve gas cannisters and tried to smuggle them by hiding them in a statue. But then the war was lost for the Nazis and we all know how that went with the statue seized by our great Mother Russia, who fortunately didn't find what was in the statue for the Cold War. Under the alias of Eric Dane, he plans to donate the statue to the museum as a plot to smuggle it into the United States.

Beginning his nefarious plot, Eric orders his right-hand to slit the throat of Jarvis to take control over security. Pretending to be friendly to Sharon's film crew when they arrive, he then reveals his actual name and holds them all hostage after having the kind old owner of the museum murdered by one of his men when she tried to call for help. And first things first, he decides to toy with his hostage as he forces the director Jack Terry to have one of the actor recite Shakespearean lines, sadistically drilling to the former that his life is on his hands, shooting him non-fatally to torture him as punishment for slipping up when dissatisfied with the performance, and does it repeatedly before killing him when he grew bored.

He then reveals that the containers contain nerve gas bombs, which are powerful enough to annihilate entire countries, talking with a smile on his face as he remarks about the destruction that can be caused and the profit he can makes, and we see him testing the gas beforehand on human objects and... the effects are far from pretty as they disintegrate and melt, and the worst part is he himself says it has no half-life to dissipate it, wanting to sell twelve of these marveling at the potential bloodshed and profit he could earn. He then plants a nerve gas bomb on the vents to demonstrate it to potential buyers by having it kill all the hostages. However, the security chief under his payroll has lost the key card he needs to escape that flies him into rage, only opting to not kill him because he is short on manpower, he threatens to brutally kill both Bobby and Jack to lure Sharon out to for the group to kill. They do lure them out, but in the process nearly all of Dengler's men were killed and only he was left alive. With this, they all manage to outmaneuver Dengler, trapping him with his own nerve gas that slowly and painfully melts him to death.
