Eteon are the main antagonistic faction of the 2019 action film Hobbs & Shaw.

They are a secret terrorist organization known for modifying and utilizing ex-MI6 agent Brixton Lore as a means of taking The Snowflake and terminating humanity.

History

Early Days

Eteon had recovered Brixton's body after he was shot by his former MI6 colleague, Deckard Shaw, eight years prior and modified him with various cybernetic and mechanical implants. The former had followed them with strong loyalty and believed in Eteon's ideology of saving humanity and steering them into the right direction. They had commissioned Professor Andreiko to develop a pathogen, The Snowflake, that could deliver vaccines. Contrary to Andreiko's orders, they programmed the Snowflake into a deadly virus that would wipe out humanity.

Theft of The Snowflake

They deployed Brixton and the soldiers to infiltrate the facility in London to get the pathogen. Brixton murdered the MI6 field team, and Hattie Shaw takes the opportunity by injecting The Snowflake and blames the murder on Hattie by using the radio from one of the deceased agents.

Attack on the CIA London Black Site

Meanwhile, they discovered U.S. Diplomatic Security Service agent Luke Hobbs and Deckard in the CIA London Black Site. Brixton and Eteon soldiers later attacked the building and kidnapped Hattie. She managed to break free, and as Brixton prepared to retaliate, Hobbs crashed into Brixton and fought him after they crash landed onto the ground, with Deckard joining the fight.

Brixton and two others went to pursue the trio in Deckard's super car using their own motorbikes in the streets around London until Deckard made Brixton crash into a bus, stopping him in his tracks and Brixton uttered that there would be a war between Eteon and the trio.

Battle at Eteon Headquarters

The anonymous director of Eteon informed him that Hobbs and Deckard were to be apprehended alive, as Eteon wished to recruit them. Brixton attempted to remind them that Deckard had already refused once, but was forced to relent once he was threatened. Brixton was then notified that Madam M had captured Hattie and was outside their headquarters to bring her in. Brixton demanded to know whether Hobbs and Deckard were with her, and even threatened to kill Madam M if she was lying. As Brixton escorted Hattie to the virus extracting machine, he became angered when Hattie suggested that he was killing people and committing crimes for the sake of money, furiously telling her that the crimes he committed was for the greater good of humanity.

Hobbs and Deckard soon had infiltrated the building, and Brixton and his troops laid there in wait. After having the pair rendered unconscious, Brixton electrocuted them four times, attempting to recruit them, and ultimately decided to kill them when they refused to join Eteon. However, his plans were impeded by Hattie's arrival, who had escaped her restraints and had held Brixton at gunpoint, as she had overheard Brixton's gloating to Deckard of framing him. Brixton gleefully informed Hattie that the guns would not work without fingerprint authorization, only for Professor Andreiko to burn him with a flamethrower. As Andreiko incinerated and killed the other soldiers, the Shaw siblings and Hobbs began their escape, prompting Brixton to snap Andreiko's neck, killing him, and pursuing the trio.

Hattie drove the truck while Deckard and Hobbs fought Brixton, but with no success as Brixton could overcome their individual fighting moves. Since Deckard and Hobbs had placed an explosive within the headquarters, it began to explode and collapse afterwards. Brixton went to Eteon's laboratory, where his body was repaired before travelling to Hobbs' hometown, Samoa, with his troops.

Battle of Samoa

Brixton and his soldiers approached the Hobbs residence where the Hobbs brothers started repairing the extraction device. Hobbs and his brothers let out a Samoan war cry, igniting a climactic battle. Hattie was later apprehended by Brixton and was taken to his helicopter. The Hobbs brothers, along with Deckard and Hobbs, attached their trucks on the helicopter to overload its weight, causing it to crash onto the cliffs. Hattie, along with Brixton and a remaining soldier, survived the crash.

With only a few seconds left on the extraction device, the Snowflake was successfully extracted into a vial and Hattie disarmed the remaining soldier while Deckard and Hobbs fought Brixton in conjunction. Due to Brixton's defeat and Eteon's remaining soldiers taken captive by the Hobbs family and Samoans, the director activated the kill switch within Brixton's mind, remotely terminating him and putting Hobbs, Hattie and Deckard on their radar. Hobbs did the same to the Director in response.
