Ethiron's followers are a major antagonist from the second Verse of the Roblox game Deepwoken.
They are a group of hypnotized Kyrsgarde and Divers who were controlled by the Mist Presence emitted by the Drowned God Ethiron.
Description[]
Ethiron's followers are the natives of New Kyrsa whose minds have been ruined by a combination of the Space-time collapse that occurs in the city every 45 minutes as well as the fog that pervades the city. Though mostly formed of the Kyrsgarde who built the city, any humans that have suffered similar effects will not be treated with the same hostility. Despite almost seeming mindless, they do have some level of organization as their is an artillery regiment near the city's entrance. They also have specialized roles. Lancers and Brutes patrol the city and attack anyone who enters, those who have forgotten how to walk patrol the tram tunnels and stalk anyone down there before killing them, Snipers act as the artillery regiment and the personal bodyguard of the Scion of Ethiron. Meanwhile the Lost Divers all sit around one of the Obelisks and guard it.
Biography[]
Past[]
At some point in time, the Kyrsgarde built new Kyrsa on top of Ethiron as it slept. They performed rituals to keep it asleep, but as time went on many of them began to succumb to a fog that had begun to cover the city. As a result, these Kyrsgarde became hostile, leading to the others relocating to the town of Firfire above. A mysterious creature known only as Ethiron's Scion appeared in the city and the remaining Kyrsgarde dedicated themselves to helping it grow. With time, various Black Divers arrived to explore New Kyrsa but they too succumbed to the Mist Presence. With time resetting after precise intervals, their souls were heavily damaged, and they were left spectres of who they once were.
Year 1363[]
After Chaser killed himself in an attempt to reach New Kyrsa, the commotion awoke Ethiron's followers, who patrolled the city for any signs of what had caused the noise. The adventurer who had defeated Chaser eventually came across them, managing to activate several Obelisks to halt the Space-time collapse. They reached the Scion, which was awoken and attempted to kill them, but they managed to kill it instead, leading to the destruction of New Kyrsa and presumably the death of its inhabitants. However, they would not be allowed to rest so easily. With the destruction of the city came the destruction of the Obelisks, leading to Space-time collapse resuming, reviving all of them.
