Eva Heinemann is a major character in Naoki Urasawa's Monster anime/manga series.

She is the ex-wife of chief of surgery Dr. Kenzo Tenma and daughter of Director Udo Heinemann. She is an egotistical woman who struggles with relationships and after seeking to rekindle a spark with Kenzo, she feels angered by his rejection and spends the first half of the story wanting to incriminate him for the murder of Adolf Junkers, despite not having evidence. However, she later gives up on this plot and becomes a more heroic character.

Eva is regarded as a beautiful woman with light blonde hair.

Personality

Likely due to being raised by her selfish father, Eva is introduced as a greedy, spoiled and egotistical woman who only thinks of what is of benefit to her. While happy on the outside, she is a deeply broken woman deep down who feels lonely due to men only wanting her for her money, causing her to want to rekindle with her kind-hearted love interest Kenzo Tenma.

When Kenzo rejects him, she shows herself to be unable to accept this and is willing to incriminate him for the murder of Adolf Junkers out of petty revenge and becomes obsessed with ruining his life. Despite hating him, however, she is not willing to kill him and eventually rebels against Roberto due to this.

Over time, thanks to the influence of multiple people, Eva becomes a more kind-hearted and reasonable person. To honor Martin Reest, she works to stop her alcoholism and orders coffee instead.
