|~ Eva to the Flash.|
Eva McCulloch, also known as Mirror Monarch, is a supporting antagonist in the TV series The Flash, serving as the main antagonist of the Reflections and Lies Arc, the second half of Season 6 and the first three episodes of Season 7.
She is the mirror duplicate of the late Eva McCulloch, the founding CEO of McCulloch Technologies and wife of Joseph Carver. When the real Eva had died during impact with a mirror after being hit by dark matter, it indirectly created a superpowered duplicate inside the Mirrorverse who thought she was the real Eva and believed that Joseph had abandoned her. She went on to escape and kill him so she could take over the company and "liberate" the world in her image.
She is portrayed by Efrat Dor.
The real Eva was originally a quantum engineer who had married Joseph Carver, where she then founded McCulloch Technologies and became its CEO. Her time as a renowned scientist garnered her a reputation and became respected by many doctors and scientists alike. She had built many inventions, which included the Prismatic refractor. After theorizing that that a dimension existed with inverse properties but had no way to prove it, Eva began working on a machine to transverse the dimension and prove its existence.
On the night the STAR Labs particle accelerator explosion in December 2013, Eva was in her office finishing blueprints on her R-CEM when she was thrown into a mirror by the dark matter, killing her on impact. However, the dark matter also indirectly created a mirror duplicate of Eva when she hit the mirror, which had then been trapped inside the Mirrorverse and somehow believed that she was the real Eva and presumably had all of her memories as well. Over the next six years, the duplicate made 1,322 attempts to escape from the Mirrorverse without any success. During one of these attempts, she used her built R-CEM to open a portal in the mirror, but was unable to pass through without burning herself.
She waited for Joseph to find a way to try and bring her back, unaware that the real Eva was dead and he wasn't looking. After some time, she started to believe that he abandoned her. During her time in the Mirrorverse, Eva's duplicate started to develop mirror-based powers, which includes controlling mirrors, travelling across reflective surfaces, move at superluminal speed and even communicate through mirrors themselves. After using these powers, she learned what Joseph began using "her" company for afterwards, thus fuelling her misplaced anger and she plotted to escape, take control of the company and kill him.
In preparation for her escape, she created a mirror duplicate of Sam Scudder, who was also sent into the Mirrorverse by accident from the dark matter wave. He would make his appearance in 2016, where he was only capable of travelling through reflective surfaces. He was eventually captured and sent to Iron Heights.

Learning the Truth
- Eva is the second female main antagonist of The Flash (the first being Grace Gibbons).
- Eva is the first main antagonist in the series to succeed with her master plan and the first not to be defeated at the end of her respective season. This is because filming was not completed for Season 6 because of COVID-19 which if completed would have seen her get defeated.
- Eva is the second known version of Evan McCulloch in the Arrowverse, the first being the male Earth-2 version.
- In the Season 7 premiere, she is revealed to be the one who created Mirror Master from Season 3, which she used as a prototype and would explain why he was so much weaker than her. Eventually, she killed the duplicate right in front of Rosa Dillon, meaning the real Sam Scudder is still trapped inside the Mirrorverse.
