Biography
Origins
In her early life, Eva became a quantum engineer and married Joseph Carver, where she then founded McCulloch Technologies and became its CEO. Her time as a renowned scientist garnered her a reputation and became respected by many doctors and scientists alike. She had built many inventions, which included the Prismatic refractor. After theorizing that that a dimension existed with inverse properties but had no way to prove it, Eva began working on a machine to transverse the dimension and prove its existence.
On the night the STAR Labs particle accelerator explosion in December 2013, Eva was in her office finishing blueprints on her R-CEM when she was thrown into a mirror by the dark matter, accidentally sending her into the Mirrorverse while Joseph witnessed it. Although he had scientists research the dimension and its effects on humans, he didn't find a way to release Eva and declared her dead to the public. Over the next six years, Eva attempted to escape from the Mirrorverse 1,322 times and was always unsuccessful. During one of these attempts, she used her built R-CEM to open a portal in the mirror, but she was unable to pass through it without burning.
She waited for Joseph to find a way to try and bring her but after an unknown amount of time, she came to the realization that he abandoned her. During her time in the Mirrorverse, Eva became adapted to its properties to the point where she developed mirror-based powers similar to Sam Scudder, only with more precision, power and versatility. After using her powers in learning that Joseph had been embezzling her technology to the highest bidders and had been ruining lives through organized crime, Eva plotted to escape, retake her company and get revenge on her husband.
