Evan is a minor antagonist in the 2010 horror film Saw: The Final Chapter.
He was the leader of a racist skinhead group who would target those of physical differences. He and the group were eventually targeted by Mark Hoffman, who abducted them and forced them to participate in a death game.
He was portrayed by the late Chester Bennington.
Biography[]
Evan, along with his friends, Dan and Jake, and his girlfriend, Kara, started a skinhead group that would attack people because of their different looks. Evan and his group continued their hateful acts until they were targeted by Mark Hoffman, a disciple of John Kramer, also known as Jigsaw.
Hoffman abducted Evan, Dan, Jake, and Kara and brought them to a junkyard called Pete's Auto Repair. Evan was placed in a car that was placed in above the floor with his back glued to the driver's seat of the car, Kara was tied up on the floor beneath the car, Dan had piercing chains attached to him and the car, and Jake was tied up against a garage door. A videotape left by Hoffman tells him that they were chosen for a deadly game because of their violent and racist acts. Hoffman tells Evan that he has 30 seconds to get out of the seat and pull a lever to stop the game.
The timer started and Evan struggled to get his back off of the seat, but managed to do a little, causing skin to tear off of his back. Though, he failed and the car fell onto Kara, crushing her before the car started driving, causing Dan to be ripped apart by piercing chains that were attached to him. The car drove into the garage door, which Jake was tied up against, crushing him as the car crashed into another car. The crash caused Evan to be launched out of his seat, tearing off the skin of his back and sending him flying into the back window of another car, killing him.

The Metropolitan Police Department were alerted about the junkyard incident and arrived at it. They recognized it as another Jigsaw game. A police officer named Matt Gibson listened to the videotape that had Evan's instructions. Gibson then ordered for the corpses to be brought to the morgue, where they would be examined by Dr. Adam Heffner for an autopsy.
Personality[]
There is little known about Evan's personality due to his minimal screen time, but it is implied that he is hateful and violent due to being a member of a skinhead gang. Evan was racist and discriminative towards people who were different from him.
Trivia[]
- Evan was originally going to survive but his actor, Chester Bennington, was unable to film the scene due to his schedule due to him being in the band Linkin Park.
- Chester openly expressed disgust at the character, believing being racist to be one of the worst things a human can be.
