| ~ Sunday explaining Evernight's appearance. |
Evernight looks identical to March 7th: pink hair, fair skin and same face. Her hair is short, except for two tails behind her head that reach to her legs, similar to a jellyfish. She has red eyes and always a calm expression.
On her hair she wears a black flower and two silver clips. On her right ear she wears an upside down red and black faded question mark. She wears a white sweater with an exposed shoulder and a red flower over the right side of her chest with a piece of transparent white fabric, and some black stains over her left shoulder and chest. She also wears a black jacket with a zipper on her left arm resembling a mouth. The left side of her jacket is longer than the right one, the size of a dress. On her hands she wears slightly torn black gloves with a silver ring with a red gemstone in the middle finger of her right hand, a silver ring on the pinky of her right hand and a third silver ring on her thumb of her right hand. Her gloves have silver nails over the fingers. On her right thigh she wears a black garter with a red flower. And finally a pair of black boots with short-knitted white warmers with a red flower on each one.
Evernight is seen holding a black umbrella with a red handle. The reverse side of the umbrella has a red and white design similar to a mouth with sharp teeth.

| ~ Evernight to Dan Heng and the Trailblazer. |
Evernight is a mysterious person, characterized by her unwavering loyalty and obsessive protectiveness to March 7th. She is shown to be quite possessive of her, not trusting the Astral Express to take care of her and trying to take her away from them. She is not above manipulating, lying, attacking or even killing to get what she wants, she does not hestitate to kill multiple Memosnatchers (and driving some of them to insanity) to "protect" March 7th, even turning their corpses into the Ichor Memosprites.
However, by some quotes said by Evernight, she seems to be obsessed not only with protecting March, but also obsessed with March herself, considering her name to be "wonderful, adorable, lively, and interesting", saying "Who wouldn't love the Rosy Celestial Maiden?" and writing numerous letters and poems to March, as seen in her Character Story.
Evernight shows little to no remorse whatsoever in hurting others, and does not seem to care of killing March 7th's friends such as the Trailblazer or Dan Heng. Her wish to keep March 7th safe goes as far as to attempting to destroy the Path of Remembrance, the Garden of Recollection, or even Amphoreus completely in order to keep any harm from coming to March. However, she does not care to also lie and deceive March 7th to get her to do what she wants; even taking her own body and memories.
Further emphasizing her lack of morals, in her Voice-Overs she mentions that she thought of multiple endings for March, including a Mirror Holder of the Beauty, a Galaxy Ranger of the Hunt, or even a Lord Ravager of the Destruction, showing that she does not care if March 7th ends up being a bad person or even hurting others, and does not seem to care on keeping March on the "right track". However, for Evernight the "perfect ending" would be one when "she can completely disappear", which means she hopes for March to someday not need someone else to protect her.
However, she also displays a sadistic side, clearly enjoying sabotaging the Crew's efforts to stop her, and smiling upon kidnapping the Trailblazer and attacking Sunday; also enjoying the terror the Memosnatchers feel for her (and feeling impressed that Black Swan can remain calm in her prescence). She also seems to be a very envious person, telling the Trailblazer she is jealous of them because they "get to chat with her all the time."
She also seems to enjoy taking pictures and selfies, though she is a bit more of a perfectionist than March 7th is, saying "An overexposed photo is like spoiled juice. No matter how wonderful it once was, you can only throw it away." In her Light Cone To Evernight's Stars she is seen playing Cat's cradle, which may indicate that is her way to pass time while resting in March 7th's memories.
Her relationship with her Memosprite Evey is not explored, but it can be assumed they are fond of each other, or that Evernight at least trusts it enough to help her keep March 7th safe.

Biography[]
| “ | Don't worry, I'll watch over your path of Trailblaze... no matter the cost♭ | „ |
| ~ Evernight's Introduction. |
Evernight's exact origin is still a mystery, but she has been with March 7th ever since the Astral Express found her, lurking in the deepest corner of her memory. March 7th is a Pure Child of Anāsrava, a woman born of a fragment of Fuli the Remembrance, but Evernight must have some memories before Fuli's shattering, given the fact that she knows about things March 7th has no way of knowing (March 7th and Cyrene being fragments of Fuli, Amphoreus being an endless simulation, the Era Nova being an extrapolation, the Garden of Recollection being an enemy of the Pure Children of Anāsrava, Lygus being Amphoreus' administrator and an Emanator of Erudition, Irontomb being the subject of the Amphoreus Experiment, etc.)
What little is known about Evernight is that her goal is to ensure's March 7th's safety, even if it means hurting others; such as the Memokeepers, Memosnatchers, or even Dan Heng and the Trailblazer. At some point before the story, she developed an unhealthy obsession with March 7th, swearing to always watch over her path of Trailblaze, no matter the cost.
Night of Universal Hallucinations[]
| “ | March 7th: Is that me?! Wh-What's she saying... March 7th (?): I know your past. The things you want to see, to touch, to know... Your home, family, friends, emotions, what you love and what you despise... |

| ~ Evernight's first appearance in the story. |
Evernight as of her first appearance
Evernight first appeared in 1.5 Companion Mission Night of Universal Hallucinations, featuring the Knight of Beauty Argenti. Remnants of The Swarm sneaked inside the Astral Express, and Pom-Pom heard a strange sound coming from the passengers cabins. March 7th checked for any intruders in her own room and found a mysterious individual identical to her. The intruder claimed to be the "Complete" March 7th, with all of her forgotten memories and knowledge of her emotions, fears and desires. This interaction was quite brief, but foreshadowed a future appearance of this woman claiming to be March 7th.
When March 7th asked for an explanation, the intruder remained silent. Then, Himeko called March 7th and told her to leave the room right now. The Trailblazer and Dan Heng quickly rushed to March 7th's room, the intruder now gone and instead a bug of The Propagation in her place. After the battle, March 7th could not believe her "long-lost twin sister" was only a bug.
The reason of Evernight's appearance in this Companion Mission is unclear, but it can be assumed she was protecting March 7th from The Swarm, and disappeared when the other passengers arrived because they would protect March 7th in her place, thus there was no need of her being present anymore. The reason why Evernight claimed to be March 7th to March 7th herself is unknown.
She does not make any appearances or is ever mentioned again until the Astral Express reaches Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.
