~ Evil Alex's most famous line
Alexandra Margherita Russo, also known as Evil Alex, is the titular secondary antagonist in the Wizards of Waverly Place reunion special Wizards Return: Alex vs Alex. She is an evil version of Alex Russo that was created by Dominic as part of his part to take over the world.
Like the real Alex, she was portrayed by Selena Gomez, who later played Arsyn in Taylor Swift's Bad Blood music video.
Biography
After winning the Wizard Competition and becoming the Family Wizard, Alex starts stressing out with her family pushing her to be more mature and responsible with her full powers. This prompts her to try to change her behavior to be more positive by casting a spell that will remove the bad parts in her personality, accidentally creating Evil Alex. Evil Alex is then appointed by an evil wizard named Dominic to be his right-hand woman and assist him in his plan to take over the world. He sends her to kidnap the rest of the Russos (minus Justin) and imprison them in a magic bracelet. He then unveils his doomsday machine, the Dominic 1,000, which he will use to eradicate all mortals in the universe and enslave the wizards to obey him.
However, it requires the power of a full wizard to activate which is something only the real Alex can do. Under Dominic's orders, Evil Alex captures Harper and Mason imprisoning them in the bracelet as well to force the real Alex to activate the machine. After Alex does so, Dominic frames her for his plan and has her sentenced to death by the Crystals of Justice. Fortunately for Alex, Mason escapes the bracelet and breaks Alex out of her cell and the couple returns to the tower confronting Dominic and Evil Alex. The two travel all over Waverly Place clashing wands and magic and wrestling to death. After Mason kills Dominic, Evil Alex decides to usurp Dominic's plan and take over the world for herself. Realizing what her selfish use of magic has brought upon everyone, Alex makes the ultimate sacrifice by casting a spell that removed her powers stopping the machine and destroying Evil Alex. Alex then gets her powers back.
