Evil Arthur is an evil wizard version of Arthur Read, who appears in his little sister, D.W.'s dream in the Arthur episode, "D.W.'s Name Game".

He was voiced by Michael Yarmush, who also voiced his original counterpart in the first 5 seasons and the series finale, "All Grown Up".

Biography

When D.W. declares Arthur as, "the worst big brother in the whole world", Timmy and Tommy Tibble tell her she should call him names to try to teach him a lesson for always being mean to him. However, as soon as D.W. stars angrily calling him names, Arthur angrily calls her names back and he abusively calls her by her full name, "Dora Winifred" (what the initials in her name stand for), which really upsets her. As Arthur kept abusively calling her "Dora Winifred", Francine Frensky's older sister, Catherine (who was babysitting Arthur and D.W. while their parents were gone) stops him and takes D.W. upstairs to go to bed.

When D.W. goes to sleep, she has a dream about being in a beautiful paradise with happy walking flowers and trees. She is at first happy, but then the sky gets filled with dark clouds and thunder booms and lightning flashes and Arthur shows up as the "Evil Arthur", floating on a cloud and starts meanly calling D.W. by her full name, "Dora Winifred" several times and big letters spelling her full name out even come out of Evil Arthur's mouth and the letters land right at her, making her very distressed. When D.W. runs away, her deer friend, Walter, shows up and he tells her how to defeat the Evil Arthur, all she had to do was ask the Great "Thesaurus" for help.

When D.W. heads to the Elwood City Library after learning that the "Thesaurus" lives beyond the woods, she finds Tommy and Timmy who've been turned into stone lions by Evil Arthur's powers. Evil Arthur then shows up on his cloud again and the Tibble twins tell her to quickly make a run for it, so D.W. quickly runs into the library as Evil Arthur calls her "Dora Winifred" again and spits out the letters spelling her full name again.

After the Librarian, Ms. Turner, takes D.W. to see the Great "Thesaurus" and the "Thesaurus" tells her what name to call Evil Arthur, D.W. walks out of the library and finds Evil Arthur sitting on his cloud eating a slice of cake. D.W. then walks up to Evil Arthur, and she whispers the insult into Evil Arthur's ear. As soon as she done so, it catches Evil Arthur off guard and it causes him to melt (similar to the defeat of Wicked Witch of the West). After he melted in defeat, D.W. gets horrified as she was unaware that was going to happen to him. She scoops up Evil Arthur as he washes into a storm drain, and Evil Arthur sadly proclaims to D.W. that calling people names does little good for anybody. D.W. then starts to regret her wish and starts to beg for someone to help her.

As soon as she begs for help, D.W. wakes up from her dream finding herself back in her room, with her and Arthur's parents, Jane and David, finally back home. When D.W. sees them holding the cup Evil Arthur melted in from her dream, she gets terrified and yells out her brother's name. As soon as she does, Arthur comes in and D.W. hugs him and apologizes to him for calling him names, and Arthur apologizes to D.W. back. D.W. then tells Arthur, Jane and David all about the dream she had. Then suddenly, the Great "Thesaurus" appears from outside D.W.'s bedroom window, which makes D.W. gasp in shock, realizing it may have not been just a dream.
