~ The Evil God showing disgust to Kintoru, before dragging her lifeless body into Jigoku. |
The Evil God, otherwise known as the Eldritch God, is the overarching antagonist of the 2021 Roblox horror-game The Mimic.
He is a cosmic, mysterious, and sinister entity, embodying a primordial force of malevolence who is the creator of the Four Beasts that wreaked havoc across the Earth, he currently rules the infernal realm of Jigoku, having overthrown its previous ruler, Shinigami. He also granted Kusonoki Masashige his powers to defeat the Four Beasts, doing so for his own amusement, as he found himself unable to conquer them with mere punches and katanas. As confirmed in The Mimic: Origins, he remains the ruler of Jigoku, despite Shinigami's lingering presence. There is speculation about whether we will see this Eldritch god again in book 2, chapter 4, since he made an appearance at the end of the good ending in chapter 4 of book 1. However, this remains just a theory, and it is uncertain if it will actually occur.
Biography[]
Past[]
Long ago, in the annals of history, the Evil God orchestrated a cunning coup, successfully overthrowing the former ruler of Jigoku, the Shinigami. The Evil God claimed the throne for itself, establishing dominion over the dark realm. However, as time passed, a sense of ennui began to envelop the Evil God, leading to a desire for amusement and diversion. In its quest for entertainment, it decided to craft a set of powerful tools, or rather, puppets, that would serve its whims. Thus, it conjured forth the Four Beasts, each embodying a distinct and chaotic essence. Their reign of terror seemed unstoppable, as towns crumbled and despair spread like wildfire. However, it was during this dark time that a courageous samurai named Kusonoki Masashige, a distant ancestor of Yasu, rose to face this overwhelming threat. With unparalleled skill and unwavering determination, he confronted the beasts, ultimately managing to defeat them. After an epic battle that would be recounted in legends for generations to come, Kusonoki Masashige sealed the Four Beasts away, restoring peace to the world and putting an end to their chaos once and for all. These creatures were Kintoru, the Beast of Control, Enzukai, the Beast of Jealousy, Netamo, the Beast of Rage, and Yuma, the Beast of Rebirth. As the Four Beasts were unleashed upon the Earth, their rampage was nothing short of catastrophic, wreaking havoc and chaos for a full ten days.
Control's Book[]

Kintoru being dragged into Jigoku by the Evil God.
After Yasu kills Sama and freed his ancestors from Sama's curse, the Evil God appears in front of the witch's lifeless body. The God declares that she is a useless tool and drags Kintoru's lifeless body into Jigoku.
After Yasu successfully defeats Sama and liberates his ancestors from the oppressive curse that had been placed upon them, a dark and malevolent presence materializes before the lifeless form of the witch. The Evil God, proclaims that she has proven to be nothing more than a worthless instrument, devoid of any real power or purpose. In a show of contempt, the God seizes Kintoru's lifeless body, dragging it mercilessly into the depths of Jigoku, the realm of the damned, where shadows linger and despair reigns. This act serves as a grim reminder of the futility of Sama's ambitions and the ultimate price of her dark sorcery, leaving behind a chilling silence in the wake of their devastating confrontation. The air is thick with the weight of what has transpired, as the remnants of the battle echo in the void, marking the end of an era defined by fear and manipulation. In that haunting moment, the Evil God solidifies the finality of fate's cruel design, casting a long shadow over the lives of those who dared to challenge the darkness.
Jealousy's Book[]
The Evil God can be spotted for a fleeting moment just outside the bustling train station, accompanied by an imposing presence of six additional colossal hands that loom ominously on either side of the train. The scene is both surreal and terrifying, as the train and its passengers become unwitting witnesses to this eerie display of otherworldly strength.
Trivia[]
- The Evil God rose to power after he dethroned Shinigami, the previous ruler of Jigoku as confirmed in The Mimic: Origins despite it now being considered unofficial. It is unknown what caused the former to overthrow the latter in the first place, however.
- He is theorized to be the final boss of the entire series, although this is yet to be confirmed.
- The Evil God may also be considered a Greater-Scope Villain as he is responsible for triggering most of the events that occurred throughout the game, thanks to his creations. This is because in Control's Book, Kintoru was responsible for cursing Yasu's bloodline, who his ancestor, Kusonoki is also responsible for sealing away the Four Beasts in the first place.
- The Evil God was named Shuten-Dōji in The Mimic: Origins. This may not be official anymore, however, since the story is no longer canon, though there are some points considered valid.
