Evil God Bohma ( ジャシンボーマ Jashin Bōma) is a minor antagonist of Kousoku Sentai Turboranger series, serving as the primary antagonist of the TV movie special.
He was the extremely powerful Bohma Beast at the service of the Hundred Bohma Tribes and he was one of Emperor Lagorn's most powerful minions. He was awakened in the modern times and fought the Turborangers, while again serving Lagorn in the Bohma Tribes's new scheme of taking over the Earth.
This Bohma Beast was voiced by Eisuke Yoda, who also voiced previously and later multiple other monsters and villains in Semtai series.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Evil God Bohma was an immensely powerful and notable member of the Bohma Tribes during the evil empire's first war with humanity and the fairies twenty-thousand years ago in the past before the events of the season. The evil deity tried to wipe out humanity and endure the victory of the Bohma race in the great war. However the monster was ultimately sealed through a combined efforts of the humankind defenders, most notably when a fairy friend of Seelon sacrificed itself to seal away its flame long enough for Saint Beast Lakia to cast a powerful seal to lock it away. The seal became maintained by two hidden obelisks on the surface to keep the Bohma underground and prevent its power from ever being used.
Turboranger: the Movie[]
When the Bohma beast began to revive himself by using the weakening of fairy seals, Evil God Bohma's son, Evil God Bohma Junior, began to remove the seals holding his father down, ultimately releasing him into the Human world once again. The Bohma leaders decided to use the boma deity in a new plot to use his flame to empower Bohma Castle with enough firepower to scorch the Earth. Knowing that its power was enough to destroy the planet, Seelon tried to rush to stop the resurrection of the demonic beast and even threatened to sacrifice itself to stop the deity's flames once again, but she was unfortunately stopped by Bohma Doctor Lehda, who remembered the previous time it was stopped and did not want another fairy to prevent their success. The Turborangers arrived and faced the demonic deity in combat and multi-colored heroes were able to hold it off for a time, but he decides to grow by eating its son much to everyone’s shocked, horror and disgust, only to be taken down quickly due to the power of Turbo Robo.
Personality[]
It wasn't much seen of this Bohma deity's personality, but he was shown to be loyal to his species and determined to exterminate the humankind. His most notable trait was hos heartless and selfish personality, because he sacrificed his own son and child to ensure his victory against the Turborangers. However, much similar to other Bohma beasts, he was shown to be confident and underestimated the abilities of the Turborangers's, being highly confident in his abilities, which eventually caused his defeat.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Hellfire Projection: Evil God Bohma's main ability is an extremely powerful hellfire which has the capacity to even burn and destroy Earth if emitted from the mouth of the demonic statue that makes up Bohma Castle.
- Superhuman Strength: He was one one of the most powerful Bohma Beasts, possessing much bigger and greater physical power than most of other Bohma monsters. He was able to easily best the Turborangers in their first encounter and was only defeated later in their second battle, after the heroes regrouped and came up with a plan to defeat the villain.
