| “ | My story begins in Angel Grove when five teenagers were recruited to fight the evil space sorceress Rita Repulsa. They harnessed the power of the dinosaur to become Earth's first Power Rangers. Under the guidance of intergalactic being Zordon, Trini, Zack, Kimberly, Billy, and Jason bravely defended Earth which forced Rita to create her own Ranger. Her evil magic was too strong; I couldn't fight it. She commanded me to destroy the Power Rangers and I almost succeeded but my friends never game up. They helped me destroy the Power Sword and I was freed. And that's when I joined the team but not for long as I soon discovered the Green Ranger powers were only temporary. A new villain, Lord Zedd, was destroying Earth and, with three Rangers leaving, a new power source had to be found. Trini, Zack and Jason passed on thier powers and the three new Rangers stepped forward. And just in time as Rita and Zedd teamed up to form our most powerful enemy yet, bringing with them a new terror; Rito. The new team fought bravely but it wasn't enough; Rito destroyed our Zords but a Ranger never gives up. Zordon sent us on a quest to find Ninjor, a warrior from the past who showed us the secrets of the ancient ninja. Our quest complete, we gained new weapons, new Zords and new enemies but, along with new enemies, came new friends. When Kimberly chose to leave, Katherine was the only choice. Katherine assumed the Pink Ranger power and just in time. We were under attack. We got out just as Rita and Zedd succeeded in destroying the Command Center. | „ |

The Evil Space Aliens are the main antagonists of the Power Rangers franchise. It is an army of assorted creatures led by Rita Repulsa and her master-turned husband Lord Zedd.
Group History[]
Past[]
Lord Zedd first emerged as a major threat when he came into conflict with Zordon of Eltar and at some point created a number of minions and Rita Repulsa joined him as a minion. An unknown amount of time later, the Evil Space Aliens were forcibly annexed into the United Alliance of Evil because Zedd feared Dark Specter but Lord Zedd was allowed to continue his conquests.
Some 10,000 years ago, Zedd sent Rita Repulsa and a group of lesser minions to fight Zordon and the planet Earth since he was busy with his own attacks. After many years of conflict, Rita lured her foe to a supposed peace talk where she managed to trap him in an other dimensional time warp. However she and her minions were trapped themselves by Zordon in a Space Dumpster. Whether Zedd didn't know his minions were sealed away or knew and just refused to help them because he deemed them a failure is unknown.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers[]
10,000 years later, in 1993, the Evil Space Aliens are freed by a pair of astronauts who find her dumpster on the Moon and open it out of curiosity. Now free to take control of Earth, Rita re-establishes herself on the forgotten Moon Palace where Finster begins making new Putty Patrollers and the first batch are sent to harass five teenagers summoned by Zordon. They are successful and more attack the city of Angel Grove with Goldar but the five teenagers become the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and repel the initial attack. From this point onwards, Rita begins sending down monsters and Putties to attack the planet but this fails every time. Rita even creates her own evil Power Ranger (Tommy Oliver the Green Ranger), but he turns good and she is faced with an even greater challenge.
However Rita later takes away his powers with a green candle that drains his powers when it burns out. However, she still doesn't get back the powers when Tommy passes his Dragon Coin (the source of his powers) to Jason. Another of Rita's more inspired plans is to capture the parents of Angel Grove to force the Power Rangers to hand over their Power Coins. Even after getting the Power Coins, she still doesn't return the parents but Tommy is re-powered and foils this plan.
A year after Rita's return, Lord Zedd comes to Earth after hearing of his top minion Rita Repulsa's failure to defeat the Power Rangers. Finding this to be a disgrace, he magically first stripped the space witch of her Magic Wand with his signature Z Staff imprisons her inside her Space Dumpster, hurls her into space from the Moon Palace, and takes over the job of destroying the Rangers himself. Zedd then uses his powers to create Pirantishead who defeats the Dinozords and assumes control of the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord and the Dragonzord. After the Rangers get their Zords back under control, Zedd angrily opens a crevice in the Earth that swallows all pf the Dinozords with the exception of the Dragonzord. However, the Rangers strike back with their new Thunderzords and defeat Pirantishead but though Zedd is not ready to give up so easily.
Later, after it became clear that Tommy's Green Ranger powers are truly starting to fade, Zedd begins creating monsters specifically designed to drain him. Eventually, he uses a green crystal and a monster called TurbanShell to take the last remnants of Tommy's powers to fuel his team of Dark Rangers. However, Tommy foils Zedd's plans though he still loses his powers so Zedd creates special candles from the wax of the Green Candle that Rita used to drain Tommy's powers in the first place for Billy, Zack, Trini, and Kimberly. He plans to use them to drain the four's powers as well but Jason, who is haunted by the fact that he failed to save Tommy's powers in the same situation, overcomes his doubt and manages to foil this plan as well. After the Rangers are rejoined by Tommy, now the White Ranger, Zedd realises that they are much more formidable than he wants to admit.
When three of the Rangers, Jason, Zack, and Trini are leaving Angel Grove for the World Peace Conference in Switzerland, Zedd unleashes the titanic Serpentera which could have easily wiped out the Rangers' Zords but he is unable to since the Zord's power drains very quickly. Because of this, the Rangers manage to transfer the powers to Rocky, Adam, and Aisha before Zedd could attack and they defeat Silver Horns which thwarts Zedd's plans. Soon, the time comes for Zedd to undergo his Centennial Recharge; a state of slumber when he will recharge his evil energies. However, Rita returns with a plan for revenge and contacts Finster, who makes her a love potion which she pours into the recharging machine. This makes Zedd fall in love with her upon his awakening, instantly marrying her and losing his menacing personality for a more comedic one. Now with both Zedd and Rita to deal with, the Rangers are barely able to win their battles. The schemes they come up with include the creation of an evil clone of Tommy, Tom Oliver, and sending the Rangers to the past.
Zedd is not happy when Rito Revolto, Rita's brother, shows up, who often calls him "Ed", much to his chagrin. Later, Goldar manages to get the love potion out of Zedd's system but Zedd has since developed real feelings for Rita. Zedd and Rita eventually manage to capture Kimberly to force the Rangers to act as the pilots for their newly discovered Shogunzords. When Tommy attempts to rescue her, the Emperor of Evil engages the White Ranger himself and easily defeats him in combat. The only reason Tommy survived is because he destroys the Z-Staff and forces him to leave.
Later, when Master Vile arrives on the Moon seeking the Zeo Crystal, Zedd is pushed off to the side much to his fury. From that point onwards, Zedd constantly belittles and argues with Vile and is ecstatic when the overlord throws a tantrum and leaves after his defeat at the hands of the Aquitan Rangers. Thanks to the Orb of Doom turning back time and transforming the Rangers into children, Zedd only has an aquatic group of aliens, who weaken on land, to deal with. During this time, he and Rita succeed in destroying the Ninja Power Coins but only after Billy returns to his normal age by using them to power a machine he created. Zedd eventually gets his hands on a map of the Command Center and manages to find a weak point in its defences. Zedd sends Rito and Goldar to plant a bomb and steal the Zeo Crystal which they are eventually successful at doing but only after the Crystal returns the planet back to normal.
Zeo[]
Whilst the Evil Space Aliens are celebrating however, the Moon Palace is attacked by the Machine Empire's Quadrafighters. With no form of air defence, they are forced to abandon the gutted Moon Palace and flee in Serpentera to the M-51 Galaxy much to Zedd's misery. Despite this incredible set-back and being forced to flee in Serpentera humiliatingly, Zedd swears that he will return someday and finally conquer the Earth.
Much later, Rita and Zedd return after the defeat of Somnibot as the Machine Empire have become an intergalactic laughing stock for failing to defeat the Zeo Rangers. Reclaiming Rito and Goldar and operating out of an RV, Rita and Zedd use a series of plots to prevent the robots from emerging the victors and even help the Rangers at one point so as to foil a plot by Prince Gasket where he brainwashes Tommy into thinking he is the leader of the Machine Empire. Eventually, Zedd feigns a surrender by using a bomb to blow up the Royal House of Gadgetry, leaving the empire to crumble. With thier mission complete, the Evil Space Aliens go on holiday before returning to again menace the Earth. Despite this however, they are forced to retire from villainy before they can return after Rita gets pregnant.
In Space[]
Two years later however, the Evil Space Aliens are forced back into villainy when Dark Specter calls a meeting of the entire United Alliance of Evil to celebrate his conquest of Eltar. At the conference on the Cimmerian Planet, Zedd tells Rita about Divatox's destruction of the Power Chamber and later toasts Dark Specter after he reveals that he has captured Zordon. When Andros is revealed as having infiltrated the meeting, Zedd attempts to strike him down with the Z-Staff but it is deflected and the Ranger escapes.
Later that year, Rita and Zedd team-up with General Havoc and lead thier forces in a planet in the M-51 Galaxy and manage to defeat Trey of Triforia. When they learn of Dark Specter's death at the hands of Darkonda, Rita and Zedd decide to defect from the UAE but Zordon's Energy Wave washes over the planet. This process destroys thier entire army but Rita and Zedd are spared, being turned into ordinary humans that take the opportunity to dance. Although Rita would go on to become the Mystic Mother, what happens to Lord Zedd after this is unknown but the Evil Space Aliens are no more. Unbeknownst to anyone however, although Rita had been purged of her evil, her evil essence persists and is merely scattered throughout the universe in the form of particles.
Beast Morphers[]
Lord Zedd's staff is one of the many villain relics in Ryjack's collection that are acquired by Evox and his minions. Zedd is Scrozzle's choice during the villains' discussions until Roxy reminds everyone of what Zedd and Rita did to King Mondo and his family. Fearful that Zedd would secretly plan to betray Evox as well, the idea is abandoned and Scrozzle dumps the Z-Staff. Ultimately however, they choose to resurrect Goldar in a more powerful form as Goldar Maximus who promptly kills Sledge for insulting him. Goldar accompanies Snide to the Dino Charge dimension and fights the Dino Charge Rangers, quickly overwhelming them and the newly arrived Beast Morphers Rangers.
He easily takes Koda down and steals his Energem before fighting off Ravi, Nate, Steel and Zoey who he easily overwhelms, demorphs them and destroys their Morphers before going to find Scrozzle who is assembling a secret weapon (which is soon revealed to be the Chimera Zord) to use against the Rangers and Goldar cut open a geode for him. Goldar Maximus and Snide later appear alongside some Putties, Triptoids and Vivix to attack Jason, Zoey and Ravi when they try to ambush Evox and Scrozzle from behind. He, Roxy, Snide and the army attack but Ivan's Lightning Final Strike takes out Roxy and the Z-Rex Blaster destroy Snide with Tyler taking down Goldar. He refuses to surrender but the Rangers combine the Ptera Saber, Dino Spike, Power Blaster, and Z-Rex Blaster into the Dino Power Ultra Blaster which takes Goldar down once and for all.
Dino Fury[]
Twenty three years after Lord Zedd's purification, Reaghoul successfully recreates a clone of Lord Zedd's pre-marriage self as his minion and has him infiltrated Area 62 to steal Void Knight's Sporix Beast collection for his own purposes. Although this version is initially controlled by a Compliance Collar, he is broken free of it by Ollie Akana and beats down his enemies. Before he can destroy them, he realises that he is missing his Z-Staff and teleports away but swears to return and destroy them all.
During his time away, Lord Zedd breaks into Grid Battleforce and devastates the building before freeing Scrozzle from prison. He does this because has heard of Scrozzle's actions under Evox and wants to use his intelligence for his plan to create a new army of Sporix. After having Scrozzle retrieve his staff from the Crystal Dimension, he recruits Sizzurai and returns to Earth shortly after Tarrick is turned into Void King. Returning to Area 62 with his generals, Zedd forms an alliance with the Void Family where they will give him aid and technology in exchange for a 50/50 split of the Earth. Having established a base on Earth, Zedd has Scrozzle build two generals from the data of Snageye and Boomtower; Boomblaster and Nulleye. His ultimate plan is to create new Sporix Beasts to help him and he comes close but his generals abandon him after they are defeated with Scrozzle retreating as a traitor. In the resulting fight, Zedd nearly kills the Rangers but the Green Morphin Master arrives and seals both herself and Zedd inside crystal to end his threat. Despite this, the other Morphin Masters later free her and they take away Zedd's crystal to be stored away for the rest of time.
Within six months of Void Queen's redemption and the ultimate defeat of the Sporix however, Lord Zedd escapes his imprisonment thanks to Squid Ink Inc so the Dino Fury Rangers go after him.
Once and Always[]
In 2022, Billy attempts to reconstruct Zordon's essence but, although Rita Repulsa had been purged of her evil, her evil self's essence persisted and scattered throughout the universe in the form of particles and he ends up summoning them instead. Taking over Alpha 8 as her vessel and morphing it into a new body, Rita is effectively reborn but devoid of goodness and any redeeming qualities that the original possessed. During a fight on the cliff-side, she overwhelms Billy and murders Trini before returning to the long abandoned Moon Palace where she resurrects the long dead Mighty Minotaur and Snizzard to act as her muscle. A year after the death of Trini, Rita returns and manages to capture all of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers besides Billy and Zack with the goal of going back in time to help her younger self to conquer Earth and change history. She manages to capture over a dozen other Rangers when the new Power Rangers (consisting of Billy, Zack, Kat and Rocky) confront her with Minh although they are still no match.
As she tries to kill Billy like she did Trini though, Minh takes the blast instead and seemingly kills her but she remembers her mother's past battles and gains the Yellow Ranger powers so the team morphs and fights Rita and her minions. When Kat tries to destroy the console though, Rita reminds her of what would happen to the captive Rangers before she grabs and enlarges the Snizzard to make it harder to destroy him. However, with her back turned, Billy is able to impale Rita with his Power Lance and seemingly kill her before they destroy the Mighty Minotaur and summon the Dino Megazord. After the Minotaur's death though, Rita reboots and activates her machine which opens a portal back to the day of the dumpster with her even ignoring the Snizzard's death in her glee. Before she can help her younger self though, Minh pins Rita with the Power Daggers before Rocky and Billy free the Rangers and Kat obliterates the machine as Zack obliterates Robot-Rita Repulsa with a shot from his Power Axe cannon.
