Evolution was a professional wrestling stable that served as the primary antagonists of WWE's Raw brand from early 2003 to early 2005. The group was founded by Triple H in early 2003 in order to aid him in his quest to remain WWE's top wrestler. They were arguably the most dominant faction of the early to mid 2000's in WWE as, at various points, every member of the stable held a title.

The group consisted of "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Batista and Randy Orton, and was meant to be a modernized version of the Four Horsemen, the legendary faction that was lead by Flair in the NWA and WCW in the 80's and 90's. The group was meant to represent the evolution of the professional wrestling business (hence the name), with Flair representing wrestling's past, Triple H representing the present, and both Batista and Orton representing pro wrestling's future.

The group briefly reformed in 2014 as an auxiliary group of the Authority, but did not remain reformed for long upon Batista once again departing from WWE.
