Gwahaha! That scene was a huge success! Regrettably, we haven't prepared the next scenario yet, but it'll be even more spectacular...maybe something like blowing up the puppet world!!! Headdy, my boy...I'll have you desperately fighting for your life again next time! Gwahaha!
~ The executive after seeing the success of the adventure that Headdy had just went through.

The unnamed executive is the overarching antagonist of the 1994 video game Dynamite Headdy.

He is the creator of the world that the titular character inhabits, the Puppet World, and is the one that dictates all that happens within in, including all of the events, involving the mass kidnapping from the Dark Demon, that had occured in the game. When the show concludes, the executive is so amazed at the performance of the show that he anticipates a sequel in the works, which may involve the total destruction of the puppet world due to a lack of ideas.

Appearance[]

The executive is a large, balding, rotund man with tan skin and green hair. He is always seen wearing a purple and pink suit with dollars stuffed in it.

Biography[]

After obtaining all of the digits to a secret passcode, which are obtained after playing and winning a basketball mini-game, Headdy may input this code after the game's end credits, where he will then come face-to-face with the show's creator in his office. When Headdy arrives, the executive starts lamenting on how sucessful the ending to the game was, and states having plans for a sequel. However, with the success of the show being unexpected, he couldn't come up with any ideas for the game on the fly, so he suggests the next show would involve blowing up the puppet world, assuring that Headdy will have to fight for his life a second time.

He then sends two of his workers into the office, where they begin tossing money in the air to hurt Headdy. After Headdy defeats him, the executive takes Headdy on himself, with his money targeting and flying towards him. At the end, Headdy successfully defeats the executive, and Headdy's world is safe for good.

Trivia[]

  • The character is meant to be an allusion to the fact that Treasure, the team behind the game, who is notoriously averse to creating sequels to their games, have no plans on creating a sequel for Dynamite Headdy. Specifically, the character is meant to parody how game companies at the time often create updated versions of past titles they have created, or often milk their franchises dry, (such as Konami, the company that most of Treasure's employees initially worked for, especially with the Castlevania and Contra franchises).
