Oh my God! They're not even human!
~ Citizens seeing a FEKA goon's true nature revealed

FEKA Incorporated is the main antagonist of the short-lived 1993 Johnny Turbo advertisement comic line for the TurboDuo, a console developed by Turbo Technologies Inc (TTI), a joint venture between NEC Home Electronics and Hudson Soft. Unlike other TTI-marketed console advertisements, FEKA were not based off any existing game characters. Instead, FEKA was a thinly-veiled parody of the SEGA Corporation, a depiction criticized for being petty and confrontational. Notably, while Johnny Turbo had three issues, FEKA was only featured in the first two, leaving its storyline unfinished.

FEKA itself is a multinational technology and electronics corporation that sought to dominate the North American CD game market using a campaign of deceit and slander to claim that they had the first and only CD game system available. Its agents are humanoids resembling identical black-suited men with glowing red eyes covered by sunglasses, while the CEO of FEKA, Czar Feka, is a diminutive red-eyed humanoid always in shadows. However, the true nature of these beings- whether robots, aliens, or something else- is unknown.

History[]

Past[]

At some point prior to the early 1990s, a mysterious being known as Czar Feka founded FEKA Incorporated, employing masses of identical humanoids to carry out his schemes. By 1993, FEKA had created their CD game system, quickly dominating the market by suppressing knowledge of the already-existing TurboDuo to trick the public into only seeking out the FEKA system. Additionally, they learned of Jonathan Brandstetter, a computer expert who carried the superhero persona of Johnny Turbo- and who was an avid fan of the TurboDuo.

The Master Plan![]

Czar Feka eventually summoned his aides for status on their plan, finding that the public continued to believe in FEKA's supposed status as having the only CD game system on the market, giving FEKA unopposed support. As such, two FEKA agents were present on street corners, pushing their false narrative to unsuspecting children while trying to sell them the console on the spot, even offering some free games as a further incentive. As the FEKA agents continued to pressure children into buying the consoles, they gloated to each other about how the kids remained oblivious to the existence of the TurboDuo. Suddenly, the pair was interrupted by the appearance of Johnny Turbo himself.

Turbo immediately revealed the existence of the TurboDuo to the crowd, defying FEKA's lies and pointing out that the TurboDuo was already offering the same games that FEKA was promoting, along with "more intense" titles. The agents moved to attack Turbo, but Turbo punched them both away before using his laser gun to blast one of the FEKA agents. The other agent lunged at Turbo while declaring that Turbo would pay, only for Turbo to uppercut the agent, throwing him to the ground and revealing his glowing red eyes. This made the crowd realize that FEKA agents weren't even human, and cheered for both Johnny Turbo and the TurboDuo as Turbo apprehended the agents. At the same time, two other FEKA agents observed these events from a nearby alleyway, cursing that Turbo was disrupting their plan.

Let 'Em Dangle![]

Sometime after their first scheme was foiled, FEKA CD systems began to fail in Japan. Meanwhile, at the FEKA warehouse, Czar Feka met with two of his agents to discuss a new plan- namely, convince children that the FEKA CD system was a complete CD game system at only $299, when in reality, it wasn't complete, and required a separate FEKA 16-bit system for an extra $100. Czar Feka was informed of the TurboDuo being the only complete CD game system on the market, but dismissed the claim, noting that the children didn't know that- and as such, could be duped into buying the FEKA product. With that, FEKA agents went to a game store to pressure children into buying the FEKA CD system by convincing them that it's the cheapest available, quickly getting masses of young gamers lining up to buy the product, unaware that they'd then have to pay more to make it work.

After duping many children, a FEKA agent was maniacally laughing over the successful con, only for Johnny Turbo to get wind of the scheme and arrive on the site, approaching the agent from behind and suddenly sending the agent flying with a powerful punch. Turbo quickly beat up the other FEKA agents while shouting about how the TurboDuo is truly a complete system at $299, before grabbing one of the downed agents and declaring that Czar Feka can't hide from him- Turbo would ensure that the town would never see FEKA again. As the children cheered for Turbo, Czar Feka, remotely monitoring these events with other agents, swore to show Johnny Turbo what happens to those who cross FEKA Incorporated.
