The Fake Military Police Officers are the secondary antagonists from the Scooby-Doo franchise's eighth feature film Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders. They were the henchmen of Steve, Laura and Max, the three SALF scientists.
Their voice actors are Jeff Bennett and Mark Hamill who also voiced Steve in the film.
Appearance[]
The Fake Military Police Officers are two men that are two friends of the SALF crew. They both have short hair, one has black hair, the other has brown hair. The two men wore gray military uniforms and dark green helmets with the letters, "MP" on them. They also wore belts with walkie-talkies attached to them.
Personality[]
When the SALF scientists, Steve, Laura and Max found the gold hidden in the mines underneath Scorpion Ridge, they hired the two men to fence off Scorpion Ridge. They then pretended to be Military Police Officers to guard the place to keep people away making people think the area's under government investigation, while the SALF crew mined the caves in shifts. The Fake MP's were behaving in stern, grumpy and intimidating manners, who warn people not to trespass. The Fake MP's also showed a sadistic streak, when they threatened Scooby and Shaggy. Later, they are shown to be cowards when Crystal and Amber turn into their true alien forms and even terrified of them.
Lester described them as being "Meaner then a bull with a toothache.", when he warned Fred, Daphne and Velma to watch out for them after he dropped them off at Scorpion Ridge.
Biography[]
The Fake MP Officers were a pair of thugs that the SALF Scientist hired to pretend to MPs to fence Scorpion Ridge as Government property and claim they are searching and investigating alien abductions but it was all a cover to keep trespassers from discovering the SALFs mining operation. At some point, Lester had run ins with them before. When Scooby, Shaggy and their new girlfriends, Crystal and Amber, were exploring Scorpion Ridge in search for the jackalope Scooby and Shaggy seen last night, the Fake Military Police Officers first appear, scaring Shaggy and Scooby in the process when they first see them, and surprising Crystal in shock. One of the MP officers angrily asks them what they are doing at Scorpion Ridge, and Crystal explains they're just taking some wild life photos. One of the MP officers then snatches Crystal's camera out of her hands and opens it, seeing the strange technology inside it and asks Crystal what kind of camera it is, to which Crystal says it's digital.
The MP's then tell the four they're not supposed to be in the area because it's under government investigation. They tell them they're looking into alien abductions and they'll arrest them for traveling too far behind the fence they've put up if they return. They then rudely order them to immediately leave the area, making Crystal angry, but Shaggy decides to obey their orders. So Scooby, Shaggy, Crystal and Amber leave the area just the MP ordered them to do so. After they leave however, Crystal reveals to Shaggy she's not really a nature photographer, but a government agent, and she convinces him and Scooby they must go back into the area, which they agree. When the four return into the fenced off area, they start searching for clues.
When looking into a cave where Scooby and Shaggy saw a glow in last night, the MP's start coming back because they heard something. So the four quickly run into the cave to hide. When the MP arrive at the cave and take out guns, they look into the cave. But as they looked into it, Scooby used his tail to trick the MP by making them think they were seeing a rattlesnake inside. Thinking they were seeing a rattlesnake's tail, the MP leave. Later on in the caves underneath Scorpion Ridge, after Scooby, Shaggy, Crystal and Amber, and the rest of the Mystery Inc. find the gold in the mines, they all get found by the aliens and they chase them through them, and the MP also join the aliens in the chase.
After the aliens trap Fred, Daphne and Velma in a net, the MP's again find Scooby, Shaggy, Crystal and Amber and walk towards them, causing them to fall off the edge of a cliff into a deeper part of the caves. The aliens then order the MP's to go after Scooby, Shaggy, Crystal and Amber to get them, and they obey the aliens' orders. After the MP turn on their flashlights and go after them, the aliens unmask themselves revealing they're really the SALF crew, Steve, Laura and Max. The SALF scientists explain to Fred, Daphne and Velma that the MP are fake, and they've hired them to fence off Scorpion Ridge and pretend to be MP officers to guard the place to keep people away while the SALF scientists mine the caves in shifts.

Later on, after Scooby, Shaggy, Crystal and Amber look down another cliff, the Fake MP corner them. As the Fake MP's approach them, Scooby and Shaggy try to defend themselves by acting like they know martial arts, but the MP's aren't frightened and laugh at them. As the Fake MP were about to get Scooby and Shaggy, Crystal and Amber touch their medallions and transformed into their true alien forms, right in front of them. When Crystal and Amber transform into their true alien forms, the Fake MP scream in fright and run away. Scooby and Shaggy didn't see the transformation however, so when Crystal and Amber turn back into their human and golden retriever disguises, they make Scooby and Shaggy think that they've scared them off.
When they hear Daphne's scream, Scooby and Shaggy realize their friends are in trouble, so Scooby, Shaggy, Crystal and Amber quickly head off to rescue them. When Steve, Laura and Max were about to dump Fred, Daphne and Velma into a pit, the Fake MP run up to the SALF crew and tell them they've just seen real aliens. The scientists at first don't believe them however, and when Scooby, Shaggy, Crystal and Amber arrive, they think they've just hallucinated. So Steve orders the Fake MP's to get Scooby, Shaggy, Crystal and Amber, and they think it was probably just some kind of trick. When Fake MP approach them again, Scooby and Shaggy again try defending themselves doing their terrible martial art acts.
The Fake MP then grab Scooby and Shaggy and threaten them. As they were holding them, Crystal and Amber again transform into their true alien forms and scare the Fake MP again, making them and Max walk backwards shivering in fear. When Scooby and Shaggy look back and see Crystal and Amber in their alien forms, they also get scared and run off, knocking down the Fake MP's and Max. As Crystal and Amber approached the Fake MP's and Max, Amber took a steel girder and tying it around the Fake MPs and Max. After the Fake MP and Max were tied up, they tried to run off with Steve and Laura before Scooby holding onto a metal pole punctures a water tower with it, causing the water flowed out that soaked the Fake MP and Max wet to slipped and fall until Scooby landed on top of them unintentionally, knocking them out cold.
Later on, the Fake MP were arrested along with the SALF crew and taken to prison.
