Fake Zenon, real name unknown, is the main antagonist in the video game Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories.
He was voiced by Norio Wakamoto in Japanese and Lex Lang (who also voices Dr. Neo Cortex) in English.
Biography[]
Past[]
Fake Zenon was originally a Demon Lord who survived the night where the real Overlord Zenon killed one hundred Overlords and one thousand Demon Lords. He was spared because of Zenon's pity which caused him to be outraged.
He would eventually find out that the real Zenon had reincarnated into a demon named Rozalin, a member of the Snow Clan, to escape from her bloody past, fake Zenon saw this as his chance to get revenge by raising her and making her live a life where she would never be important while she praised him so he killed every member of the Snow Clan aside from two children and kidnapped Rozalin. He would also take the identity of Overlord Zenon and go into hiding, living on as the God of All Overlords.
Despite being her father, Zenon never met Rozalin, instead, keeping her inside of a mansion and having his servants raise her.
He would eventually travel to the human planet Veldime which he would curse in order to turn every human into demons that he could absorb the life force of in order to resurrect himself if he ever died.
Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories[]
After eighteen years of being Rozalin's father on Veldime, she is accidentally summoned to Adell's side. This causes him to have his minions search for her and bring her back to his mansion.
Eventually, at the tournament, he would finally meet face to face with Rozalin, he initially tried to casually persuade her to come back to her mansion but eventually decided to have his minions kidnap and remove her memories, however, he gets interrupted by Etna who fights and kills him.
He is brought back to life through his curse, draining more of the people of Veldime's humanity. With his location known to the various demons of the Netherworld, he had to prepare his defenses as every demon wanted to become famous for beating the God of All Overlords.
Adell and Rozalin would meet up with fake Zenon again, with him attempting to murder everyone in Veldime aside from Rozalin so he could move to another human world and start his secret rule again. He would beat them, however, Rozalin awakened to her old Zenon personality and she, unswayed by fake Zenon's attempts to prove he was better than her by explaining how he became her father, was promptly and easily killed by the real Zenon.
Disgaea RPG[]
Fake Zenon would be revived and would try to make amends with Rozalin, wanting to be her father again and bond with his daughter who he used as a tool for revenge against Zenon.
