The Fallen Crusader is the protagonist of the game Legend of Queen Opala: Origin. He is a Crusader for the Beldorian Empire who was falsely accused of murdering the Emperor and being a spy for the Savage Lands. His morality is up to the player, the following is assuming he made all the "renegade" choices. One of the most skilled troopers in the Beldorian Empire, he is as ruthless as he is effective to the point of making High Priestess Laquadia personally choose him for a very important mission.

Biography[]

The Crusader is a Hybrid, his mother was a human and his father was one of the Val'Toras, a race of beastmen composed of a race similar to Minotaurs. At some point the Crusader enlisted in the Baldorian Military, quickly rising through the ranks until becoming a Crusader, the "elite" of the Baldorian Empire.

The Crusader was chosen for an important mission by High Priestess Laquadia. He was to retrieve an artifact from the dangerous Fellhorn Ruins, A mission he completed successfully. Upon returning to Laquadia from the Ruins, she offered him gold as a reward but the Crusader did not accept it, claiming that her body was the only suitable reward for completing such mission. Being left with no other choice, Laquadia agreed to his terms and allowed The Crusader to have his "fun" with her body.

The Crusader later embarked on another mission, this time it was to investigate a massacre. After investigating the town, Commander Crayden concluded that the massacre was conducted by the Savage lands, a conclusion the Crusader agreed with, believing that no further investigation was required. Once he returned to the Castle, The Crusader noticed that there were no guards stationed in the throne room. Upon reaching the Throne room he found the Emperor dead and Crayden standing next to the body. The Crusader questioned Crayden but in turn he was falsely accused of killing the Emperor, something Crayden proved easily due to the Crusader's Ruthless record and Beastman heritage. The Crusader was arrested and taken to Darkthorn Keep.

After a week in Darkthorn Keep, the Crusader managed to escaped with the help of some prisoners. The Crusader went on to find a slave by the name of Farah who happened to be wearing an artifact similar to the one Laquadia requested. After murdering all the guards, he "stole" the slave claiming he bought her. The Crusader told Farah that she was now his "property" and to address him as master to which she happily agreed. Farah would come to love both The Crusader and her role as his "property".

During his journey, The Crusader would make many allies, among them, the Dark Sorceress Osira herself who had come to "enjoy" the company of the Val'Toras.
