Fang is an evil sorceress of Cathay Empire and the main antagonist of The Swan Princess: Kingdom of Music and The Swan Princess: A Royal Wedding. She was once the royal sorceress Emperor of Cathay and was revealed to be the one responsible for turning Chen into a dragon. The only way to break the spell is: A child of the Emperor must surrender true love. It was written in on an ancient scroll that comes out magically and is written in Mandarin. Fang and the Emperor read the scroll believing that Mei Li will surrender her love for Chen and find someone else to love.
She was voiced by Vivian Lu.
Biography[]
Fang is seen with the Emperor as he waves to his son Prince Li who is sailing along with Ru to the Greatest Competition of the World: The Swan Princess Music Festival. Informing the Emperor that tea leaves say that Li's journey would be safe. The Emperor then asks her to break the spell on Mei Li and Chen but she reminds him that only his child can and after clearly telling him that she can do nothing she assures him that Mei li will surrender in time.
She is seen again in a short moment when Scully flies to the Cathay Empire to figure out what can he do to help Mei Li and Chen to break the spell. When he reads the ancient script he hopes to remember all the details. Fang discovers him and tries to get rid of him but Scully messes her Dark Water.
At the end, Prince Li breaks the curse by giving up his love for Alise.
Later on Fang is unhappy about Prince Li breaking her curse on Chen and the emperor granting clemency to Mei Li and Chen. She turns Mei Li into an old woman and gains her shape to pretend to be her and take her place during the wedding.

- Fang is secretly in love with Chen. It is likely she soaked the emperor's dislike of him.
- Fang is the 2nd Swan Princess villain who turns into a monstrous animal. First being Rothbart who turns into the Great Animal, while Fang turns into a giant purple snake.
- When Bridget had the shape of the fake Odette the real Odette will die as Derek makes the vow of everlasting love. Fang says that when she and Chen lock eyes at the wedding ceremony, Mei Li will die as well.
