Faraone Productions is the overarching antagonist of the alternate-reality game Gilbert Garfield. Their works include Gilbert Garfield and Friends, an animation derived from Garfield and Friends starring Gilbert Gottfried, Oyster Boy 1 and 2 featuring Shia LaBeouf, and many other works of animation. While it seems that their main goal is experimental forms of animation, their real goals involve cloning celebrities/world leaders, ensuring that all of the world is under their command through one way or another.

As of November 27, 2023, the Twitter and YouTube accounts of Faraone Productions have claimed to have been seized by a joint law enforcement operation on behalf of the Central Intelligence Agency and United States Department of Homeland Security, due in part to OPERATION SQUABTRIFUGE

Biography[]

Origins[]

Faraone claims that the company began in 1903 under Follia del Faraone, originally intended to be a sponsor for Rodolfo Muller during the Tour de France. However, soon the company began to host plays at the Teatro Anatomico in Ferrara, Italy. Their performance of Oromo e Superwoman was a raving success, which seemed to jumpstart the company. However, the company claims their ideology long preceded the company's founding, especially with connections such as Francis Dalton, a Darwinist infamous for his theories on eugenics and scientific racism. Soon, the company began to take on bigger works in both animation and their newly formed genetics program, debuting their animation with Frogboat Blues, parodying Disney's iconic Steamboat Willie.

Gilbert Garfield[]

In 1987, the company had somehow cloned famed comedian Gilbert Gottfried, and used him in their show Gilbert Garfield and Friends. These episodes had been lost to time in the process, but in 2020, were found amongst legitimate Garfield and Friends tapes, specifically "Episode 14: Gilbert and Odie Kill Jon". This, in turn, caused a spiral of events surrounding the company, especially the

Known Clones[]

Below is a list of known clones that Faraone Productions have worked on, and to varying degrees of success

  • Gilbert Gottfried: One of the most notable of the clones, and perhaps the most successful, this clone of Gilbert was given the gift of foresight, evident by a third eye on his foresight, and hindsight, by a fourth eye in his anus. He appears as Gilbert Garfield in the titular Gilbert Garfield and Friends, and the same character of Mecha Neko Soccer School, a series once thought to be lost to Faraone Productions.
  • Shia LaBeouf: What seems to be the second more successful cloning of a celebrity, Shia worked on both Oyster Boy movies. In between the first and second movies, it appears that Oyster Boy was used as US propaganda during the War on Terror, tearing down the statue of Saddam Hussein.
  • Earl Simmons, aka DMX: A recording session was leaked revealing a clone of DMX, to which during the recording he seems to malfunction mid recording.
