| ~ Farrah threatening Tilly's party. |
Farrah the Faerie is a minor antagonist and boss in Tilly's D&D module in Qui Nguyen's play "She Kills Monsters".
In the module, Farrah is the first boss fight that Tilly and her party encounter. As one of the Tiamat's Great Guardians (alongside Miles the Doppelganger and Vera the Beholder), she has the obligation to fight the party to the death, as they're intent on slaying Tiamat.
In the Play[]
Farrah the Faerie first appears when the party enters the magically enchanted forest on their way to the Mountain of Steepness to vanquish Tiamat. Orcus notices her and pets her, but she immediately attacks and threatens him. The rest of the party appears and considers going the long way around the forest to fight Tiamat, but when Farrah hears of this, she reveals herself as one of the Great Guardians, meaning that she's obliged to kill all the adventurers. The Great Mage Steve suddenly appears, and she easily rips out his throat with her bare hands, killing him. She begins to fight with the party, easily overpowering all of them except for Tilly. Just as Farrah's about to kill her, Tilly casts Magic Missile, blowing Farrah into smithereens.
Personality[]
Farrah is very aggressive and has a very short temper, as seen when she immediately attacks and harshly insults Orcus when he tries to pet her, and when she rips out Steve's throat the instant he appears. She has an incredibly sharp tongue, constantly insulting the adventurers and swearing more than any other character in the show. As the owner of the magically enchanted forest, she vehemently hates trespassers and tries to kill anyone who crosses her path. She's very confident in her fighting abilities as well- rightly so, given that she's able to take down almost the entire party before Tilly manages to cast Magic Missile.
Trivia[]
- Aside from the standard D&D enemies encountered, Farrah is the only character in Tilly's D&D Module that doesn't appear to be based off of anyone in the real world.
- Kaliope states that everyone in New Landia is gay with the exception of Agnes, meaning that Farrah is lesbian as well. Indeed, in some productions, she does act somewhat flirtatious with the female party members.
- As she only appears in one scene, Farrah often doubles with other characters, usually one of Evil Gabbi or Evil Tina.
- In the original Off-Off-Broadway cast, she doubled with Evil Gabbi and the Narrator.
- In some productions, she doubled with Evil Tina.
