Farrakh is the main antagonist from Fantasy Wars. He was a legendary, ancient demon whose goal was to take over the world.

Biography[]

Farrakh was a demon who came straight from the sign of darkness when a star fell into the Empire of Eolia. His goal was to conquer the whole world, so he started wars in the central provinces, and his threat was so great that the humans, elves and dwarves united against him, but together they were not strong enough to defeat him. His last opponent was the leader of the human army, General Marcus, who faced the demon alone and it seemed that he too would lose, but he had a special weapon.

The blade pierced the body of Farakh, who was eventually destroyed, but not completely, and Marcus paid with his life for the victory. However, the defeat of the demon did not bring peace, and the empire later broke up into kingdoms, and disputes and groups arose regarding the use of magic. After that, they started researching the origin of the demon, but they didn't find a clear answer, only theories were born. Some believed that he came from the chaos in the world and his purpose was to bring chaos everywhere, others said that he was created because of a pagan ritual gone wrong, who believed that they were bringing a benevolent god into the world. Moreover, many of the priests of the Solitarius cult accused the mages of having released Farrakh into the world, but they had no proof of this. However, the demon's sword remained in the world where its power resided and possessed the person anyone how get the mighty weapon, who was none other than Glenderin Essente, the head of the elven Great Council. The demon wanted to carry out his plans through the possessed elf taking advantage of his power and another thing, the ever-warring hordes of the wastes.

In the winter of 631 a.M.v. he enchanted a shaman's staff and drum, then gave the artifact to an elf, Teya Tael the dragonspeaker, to take to the north-west of the wastes, where the artifact was to be placed in a stone circle and its power would allow goblin and orc hexer- they can't do magic. However, the stones of the altar were taken by some dwarves, whose leader was a strong warrior named Dwarnrock, and they were attacked by goblins and orcs, but Teya helped them defeat the monsters, for which the dwarves swore loyalty to him in return. The elven woman asked them to bring the stones back because without the altar Glenderin's spell wouldn't work, and after they brought the stones back she asked one of her fencers, Illair, to bring the staff and drum there to keep his blood in place all. Afterwards, at the dwarves' request, they freed a human engineer from the nearby forest and fought the monsters of the wasteland to bring him safely to the engineer’s camp, but then Glenderin appeared and asked Teya and his companions to return to Quendaylon. The possessed elf then carried out the first part of Farakh's plan, which was to transfer a small portion of the sword's power into the staff, which he gave to Ash-hoon, the first hexer of the orcs, and offered him to join him and help him in his return, and the power-hungry hexer accepted his offer.

In 632, Farakh's plan split into two parts. Ash-hoon aided a massive orc war chief, Ugraum Grableg, in his campaign after the horde was fully united, and Glenderin ordered Teya to travel with his companions far north in the land of Laryd, to the mountains of Ofris to find the key to Farrakh's sarcophagus. The mission was complicated by the fact that the fortress of Ofris was occupied by trolls, so the elves and dwarves had to fight against them, moreover, Dwarnrock doubted the mission, but he was loyal to Teya, so he helped her. The goblins and their hyena riders living in this area, as well as additional mercenaries of Larid, were a problem, but Teya and Dwarnrock eventually made it to the fortress, where they defeated the trolls and found the sarcophagus, but as they moved it, golems suddenly appeared and tried to prevent them from taking the sarcophagus, but in the end they destroyed the creatures. Dwarnrock was worried and upset, because he believed that with their actions they had broken the six hundred year old oath of his ancestors and he believed that the head of the elven council must have a very strong reason that this was their desire. The dwarves then opened the chest, which contained an orb of pure light, which was none other than the key to the sarcophagus. Teya and Dwarnrock took the key to Glenderin, who used a spell to make it disappear, but the dwarf questioned him nervously, demanding to know why he needed the artifact and the hordes of the wastes. The head of the council then proclaimed Teya a traitor and the dwarf an enemy, then took out Farakh's sword, possessed the elves around him and ordered them to kill them, so the dragonspeaker and the dwarf had to flee.

Meanwhile, Ash-hoon's plan was progressing, the horde raided and defeated the kingdoms of Derenhalle and Leranse and captured the capital of the knights, Verson, but Ugraum wanted to go to Sylent and the hexer tried to convince him to stay in Verson, since there was the the demon's sarcophagus. The orc leader, on the other hand, got tired of trying to command him too much, so he hit him and withdrew his trust from him and the hexers, but the old orc did not give up, but with Sho-doon, the main hexer of the goblins, gathered an army of those who were loyal to them and attacked the horde besieging Sylen in the rear. They manage to stun and kidnap Ugraum, but he is freed by his loyal right-hand, Besargar, but Ash-hoon takes control of most of the horde. But just then an army of humans arrived led by Marshal Derrick Pfeil, who was also accompanied by a mage, Master Alfred Brennok and Father Dexter, one of the chief priests of the Inquisition. A part of the horde was successfully destroyed and then the heroes attacked Ash-hoon but Glenderin appeared who created a dark energy shield around the hexer, who wounded Derrick with his offensive spells and it seemed that Farrakh's two minions would win, but Teya also arrived to the battlefield, who made them both disappear with his magic. After that, however, there was a big problem, because the two villains obtained the key and no one was guarding the sarcophagus. The heroes knew that if Farrakh returned, it might be the end of their world, but they had only one chance against him, and that was the sword of Marcus, which was kept on the island of Ticsus by the corrupt grand master of the knight order there. While Derrick, Brennok, and Dexter went to get the sword, Glenderin created a huge, demonic citadel that Teya only called Sumgan, meaning evil place. After that, Farrakh's power and corruption took on enormous proportions, In the land of Verson, nature began to be destroyed on a large scale, everything became a dark, lava, ashen area, and the humans who remained or survived in the area became possessed, who began to kill others, while the infernal and mad knights and elves completely destroyed the city of Verson. However, Ugraum and Besargar wanted to take revenge against Ash-hoon, who was already waiting for the demon to return, but his followers and the infernal warriors were killed by the two huge and strong orcs. After Sho-doon also died, the first hexer tried to convince Ugraum to stand by him, because he could give him unprecedented power on the demon's side, but the orc chief was not interested in this, because he only cared about the success and power he achieved with his own strength, and he defeated Ash-hoon and destroy the key of the sarcophagus what he absorbed. However, the Orc Hexer did not die, and it is not known that either the destroyed key protected his body whose power was absorbed or resurrected by Glenderin, but, the destruction of the key didn't really affect the plan anymore, because Glenderin alone was enough for the last step and started to break the magical seals of the sarcophagus and when the heroes arrived near Sumgan he managed to break the first seal, and Teya urged the others because she knew that the others are also destroyed, then the demon returns in its original body.

SumganSealBreak

Glenderin uses his magical powers to break the first seal on Farrakh's sarcophagus in Sumgan.

After Glenderin broke the first seal, the demon's body was still in it, but his spirit was released, so Farrakh had partially returned to the world, but was not as strong as his own body. Although he could not use his full power yet, he was able to kill, use spells, and possess to make his victims his mindless slaves.

However, Glenderi's elves and former militias of Verson tried to stop the evil forces, but Farrakh saw an excellent opportunity to increase the number of his army with new soldiers. He then began to possess the elves and humans, who began to fight each other while being attacked by Ash-hoon's remaining minions as well. One army of elves was led by a flame guard captain who saw the fall of the first seal, called Glenderin a traitor and decided to stop him, but he was the perfect victim for the demon. He decided to use his soul to create the totem of the first crystal, so he possessed him and his flame guards and sent them to fight against their own soldiers, where they killed elves, and after they died, the captain’s body and soul were sealed in the totem and Farrakh received his abilities. Then another army of elves arrived, including a dragon, who was the next victim for the demon. Ash-hoon and the demon killed the creature together, then its body and soul were sealed in a crystal totem, and Farrakh became even stronger. Although the humans and elves attacked heroically, more and more died or became possessed, and Glenderin successfully broke all the seals seal and thus the demon had the opportunity to return to his own body. In the last attack, Ash-hoon was shot, and his henchmen took him to the citadel, and Glederin healed him, and then they left it, where the shadow of the demon was already waiting for them, because the demon was also wanted to create a third crystal totem, namely from the soul of his elf servant. Glenderin was very surprised, he said that he cannot free himself on his own and took the orc hexer's soul instead, but Farrakh wanted him, and this partly sobered the elf, who tried to protect himself, but the demon ended up killing him too. After killing his own servant, he decided to return to his original body, because he felt that he had gathered enough power and abilities to finally win. Around the demonic citadel, more and more terrifying magical forces were created and the earth shook, and the heroes had to fight the creatures and soldiers of the infernal armies, which were very many. The combined army of humans, dwarves and elves finally managed to break through the enemy lines at the ruins of Verson and reach the entrance to Sumgan, but by then it was too late as Farrakh returned in his original body and had his sword. Several soldiers attacked him, but he killed them very easily with a few blows, and then prepared himself for any decisive battle against the allied armies.

FarrakhReturnGlenderinDeath

Farrakh returns to his original body after killing Glenderin and taking his soul.

Dexter tried to pull Marcus's sword out of its sheath but failed and thought that the sword would not help them and it was all over as they alone could not defeat the mighty demon and his infernal legion. Teya was also frightened when she saw that Farrakh was not only using his own power, but also locked the souls of Glenderin, a flame guard captain and a dragon in different crystal totems, thereby gaining their abilities as well, such as being able to heal himself completely. Derrick then had an idea, namely that if the crystals were destroyed and the souls were released, the demon would become weak and vulnerable. However, it wasn't easy, as possessed knights and elves were almost everywhere, and Farrakh also summoned golems and used his own demonic powers. However, the crystals were destroyed, so the demon could no longer use the elven powers, nor could he heal himself, and then the heroes launched the final attack against him. However, the demon was still too strong, many elves, dwarves and humans died, and even the heroes could not defeat him together. He wounded them all with his demonic fire and paralyzed Brennok, but Derrick still had the strength to fight and was the one who managed to pull Marcus's sword from its sheath.

Derrick Pfeil defeats Farrakh with Marcus' sword.

Then the final battle began and Farrakh seemed to be a more skilled swordsman than his opponent, but after trying to finish him off with a spinning attack, Derrick bent down and pierced the demon's belly with the legendary sword. Farrakh fell to the ground with a great roar and collapsed, his power flowing back into his sword again, but Derrick did what Marcus had been unable to do in the past. With one big step, he stomped on the sword, which broke and Farrakh's power went out of it, so the demon was destroyed for good.

Personality[]

FarrakhEvilGreen

Farrakh's evil gaze.

Farrakh was an evil, destructive, bloodthirsty, chaotic, cruel demon. However, unlike most monsters or demons, he wasn't a simple killing machine, even though he didn't speak, his actions showed that he was aware of what he was doing, he knew what was good and what was bad, and he wanted to destroy the world knowing that. His power and essence was so evil that he immediately infected, possessed, and controlled the weak-willed, except those who willingly aided his plans and served him.

Powers & Abilities[]

Farrakh was an extremly strong demon who was a threat to the world in his own right. He had enormous physical strength, a special demonic sword that he wielded like a skilled swordsman. He was able to single-handedly defeat an entire army without any casualties with just his sword. His skin was very hard, it was almost impossible to injure him with an ordinary weapon, but magic had little effect on him either. He also had extremely great magical and demonic powers. With just his presence or the remnant of his power, he was able to possess others or raise the undead, corrupt or destroy lands and nature. He was able to spew special demonic fire, with which he could not only kill or burn his victims, but also paralyze the survivors for a while. He gained additional abilities with the collected, corrupted and captured souls. With his demonic power and essence of souls, he was able to create great storms, completely heal himself or his minions, summon golems. In addition to his physical and magical strength, Farrakh was surprisingly intelligent, he managed to return to the world in his own body with his own plan, and he also led his infernal armies well in the final battle.
