Biography[]
Alex was a student of the Pine Falls High School who was constantly harassed by his classmates and found no comfort in his professors, whom he believed were useless since they never did anything to stop the bullying.
Rachel Harper, his theatre professor would be the only exception to the rule as she was the only one who treated him with care and respect. This would result in Alex falling in love with her and decides to confess his own feelings to her after a class. But when Miss Harper respectfully declines his appeals, Alex enters in a deep depression and tragically decides to take his own life the same day.
After finding Alex's suicide letter, Rachel gets seeped in grief and guilt for not being able to stop his student to end it all, and when the teacher faculty of Pine Falls decides to partake on a vow of silence and deny any responsibility for Alex's suicide to prevent the whole institution from looking bad at the eyes of the media, she decides to take the whole ordeal onto her hands by elaborating a complex stratagem to get all the teachers killed.
She particularly blamed Coach Tony as he was the one who took the largest part in Alex's harassment, and sets the school's counselor Tony Gottlieb into her plan knowing that he loathed him.
Both set the whole ordeal into motion on New Year's Eve, intending to make their victims play a scavenger hunt game while killing anyone who stand in their way before the ball drops.
